I'm glad you put French in 'medium'. I started the game a month ago and everyone recommended them as easy to me, but I found them fairly complex to win with past like plat 2 as a new player. Other civs just have better eco bonuses, and you have to control the map with pressure while keeping your knights alive.

well as you said it is more about the civ's strenght than the difficulty itself. French is not hard to play it's one of the easiest civ to play in terms of mechanics , it's just that it got nerfed a lot and can't really keep up with other civs to a certain level

Im a mongol player and i dont fibd them difficult at all.
They came so naturally to me.
I lived many places in my life.
16 schools as a kid.
I am a mongol Benghal Khan
Mongols are easy ...to me
