    Thanks for this straight forward build. I'll be keeping this design in mind. .....for both applications of heat and foundry!

      I have all the other parts but I have been stumped on how to make this. There is another video on here that shows the something like it but doesn't say where he got it. Maybe you could make a video on that

    Without a doubt, the best laid out and executed design of any waste oil furnace/forge/smelter on TH-cam. The real clincher though has to be the homemade outriggers at all four wheels.

      Thanks, I did see someone build a similar burner.
      I couldn’t find screw jacks that would work, so it built my own.

    Hello. I am interested to know if you can manufacture this burner in series?

    Absolutely awesome setup my friend. I have been researching these builds because I am getting ready to do a bunch of castings for parts that are for obsolete engines and equipment. Thank you for the awesome build.

    WOW.... Thats a real nice piece of equipment I didnt even hear that lid drag at all. I really want to know how you got that inside lining so perfect. looks like its was some kind of cement mix and you made a mold or something

    • @dalemiller9444
      @dalemiller9444  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, the liner is 3000 degree refractory. It looks and feels like concrete but it can withstand 3000 degrees f. I used a 5 gallon to get the inside form. Works great, I can melt copper, brass and iron with no problem.

    Nice job. Did you make the nozzle as well? It looks a bit like a Nudge burner 🤔

    • @dalemiller9444
      @dalemiller9444  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, the nozzle is a Hago Siphon Nozzle SN 609-8 (.75 GPM) with Hago Adapter, SN 609-56. I think I bought them on Amazon.
      I did make the spin vain.

    What's the long red hose/pipe connected to? Compressed air?

    • @dalemiller9444
      @dalemiller9444  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, it’s connected to my air compressor located in my shop.

    That’s a lot of galvanized pipe Be careful with the fumes from that burner.

    • @dalemiller9444
      @dalemiller9444  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, galvanize fumes are hazard. The way this Burner is set up, only the tip get hot. All the heat is inside the foundry. Thanks for your concern.
