An interesting thing to note is that how Aponia describes her ability to "see fate" is similar to a concept in physics which is that if you know all the initial conditions of an environment you can determine the causal outcomes of the events within that environment. Basically, nothing is random, everything is predetermined, and causality is based on initial conditions and cannot be changed. Aponia mentions how there were things she couldn't see because she didn't know all of these initial conditions and that no matter how much she tried to change fate by altering things it always ultimately lead to the same outcome or worse. So she wished she could construct a world of her own in which she not only knew all of these conditions but could be in control of them to determine fate for herself. I think that is basically what the Elysian realm ended up being. It is also worth noting that quantum physics rejects this theory of absolute determinism by basically stating that at the very fundamentals of nature, impossible to predict and random changes do occur and so, therefore, the future is in fact impossible to fully determine.
Forgive me if I'm wrong! My brain may be already fried from too much ER lore. But isn't what you describe Su's clairvoyance? I know that both Aponia and Su talk about the way they see the future in different ways. Su talks about how he bases his future prediction on forecasting by observing the environment and predicting the most likely outcome. Meanwhile, Aponia talks about how the way she sees fate is more engrained in hard determinism and the strings of fate based on the Greek Myth of the 3 Sisters of Fate.

One thing to note you didnt mention. Aponia lost the ability to see fate after Elysia sacrificed herself. Either she did something to Aponia or the fate itself. I believe there was an amazing theory about this. Saying how fate of PE was predetermined from the start until Elysia changed it and Aponia is a proof of this. Edit: And it turned out true...
And nobody in the Current Era (except Mei and Kevin) will get to know about Aponia, unfortunately. *Conclusion:* Humans are the real monsters. They slaughtered Rin! (Another one!)
i just think you should know but you’re doing a great job. i just got into honkai and having a creator like you explain the story and explain the background of the game really helps me feel more invested. i wish you the best and to let you know that you’re gonna blow up one day!
love this kind of videos, i admit so many text in-game that i can't understand even after reading or im just dumb this helps alot with explaining what is happening keep up the good work
I do love me some character analysis video. I haven't even dabbled that far into ER but you already gave me a better appreciation for Aponia's character.... beyond the obvious parts of her character we could uhhh..... appreciate. Anyway this was the same with Otto who I disliked since I didn't really see him beyond being "really evil" so thanks for the vids.
Fun fact one of the nun you used is Aldra from queen’s blade now queen’s blade actually has a lot darker lore in the manga. Fun fact I know a queen from this game she reminds of.

She tells Mei in of the recollections that at the time she was in Sundown Alley, she could not see the future yet. Otherwise she would have know about the fire and MOTH's involvement. Going to triple check myself, but I'm sure that she had her Discipline from the beginning and gained the ability to see people's fate only after the fusion with Mitra's genes.

Not really. Sakura wanted her disciple, and even Kalpas was content with it. Sure, he was angry at her and said that he will kill her, but that's how Kalpas talks with everybody. In Ch29, Sakura wants to get revenge because she found out about Rin's death. Kalpas is also mad because Sakura was the only one he considered a comrade and he was mad because everybody lied to her.

The fact that Aponia can see the future %100 means the future is predetermined. Which means everything moths did was in vain.

Aponia is by far my favorite character because of her elegant design and ber kindhearted nature. I really like her powers too.
