- This is the First Half of the Finale for Part 1 of Honkai Impact 3rd's Main Story.
Humanity faces the biggest crisis yet! In order to put an end to Honkai for good, Kevin assumed the Authority of Finality and began implementing Project Stigma. In an unforeseen turn of events, Seele, Durandal, and Li Sushang were teleported to the Moon in a place called New Atra.
This video is a recap of the "Moon Base" story arc that takes place in the New Atra and Crater of Finality Open World. The story is a direct continuation of Chapter 31 EX, and it revolves around Kevin and World Serpent trying to implement Project Stigma. Our cast is divided, and as they try to reunite and return to Earth, they uncover the mystery behind Project Stigma and the true nature of the Honkai.

This video serves as a short Story Recap for Chapters 32 and 33 of Honkai Impact 3rd. A lot of concepts presented in the story were simplified in order to present the whole content of the two-story chapters in a cohesive manner that is easy to understand. If you want to dive deeper into some of the concepts, such as Project Stigma and Finality, I have separate videos on those topics that you can find in the description.

Sumeru is a small Bubble Universe created by Su using the Second Divine Key. After the events of the Second Key Manga, Su gave Sumeru to Durandal. You can think of it as a small private dimension that belongs to Dudu.
Some players complained that the story of this arc is a bit down bad,.. i think it is because of the deep concept esp. the scientific stuff (of course I too, had a hard time grasping ideas but I don't complain and everyone had their own opinion). Anyways, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! 🥰. This video is a big help since we can't replay the chapters. YOU ARE A BLESSING🤗
I stopped playing a while ago but I'm trying to get back into it.
I think the main drawback is not the "scientific stuff", but the abstract concept, plot devices and twists that come out of the blue. Tesla and Einstein's lengthy dialogoues around Kolosten arc got too drawn out and incomprehensible.
That, followed by the Elysian Realm where they introduced too many characters to get invested in, while the main cast you cared about was doing "something else". I skipped a good part of the uninteresting characters but read more towards the end of that chapter. But even then I clicked on fast as all the "touchy-feely", sentimental and whatnot dialogue got too overbearing.
I hope Honkai Star Rail is not going to be too brutal in that regard. But we will see.

For elysian realm, most info must be read.. As for Mei since it's her pov, er is the intrument of her character growth.
I love how you need to have a whole phd in Phiosophy to understand most of the dialogues since part 32

Ah yes, the part where we learn that Kevin is basically pulling a "if you can't beat them, join them" on the Honkai and that the entire world is in a 50000 year time-loop caused by the Herrscher of Finality hitting quick load on human civilization to reset it after repeatedly screwing up with its "embrace" and killing everyone by accident.

Great video! Thank you for explaining the story so clearly! I just have a question regarding chapter 34 if that’s ok. When explaining the cocoon of finality Tesla quotes “He fell from the sky that day. The people on the ground looked up and thus saw the starry night sky.” Maybe I just missed something but I don’t really understand the meaning of that quote, could you explain?
From my understanding, that quote is meant to depict the moment that the Cocoon of Finality "descended" on Earth for the first time. It's kinda like a biblical metaphor but in the context of Honkai.

One thing I am very confused about xd Did Finality reset the Samsara after it woke up from the fight on the moon during the previous era? If it did, how did the surviving flame chasers avoid being reset? As well as creations like the Elysian Realm D: Maybe I am thinking to deep into a fictional story, but curious if maybe I missed something about this aspect
Yes, Finality did reset the Samsara last time. As to how did the Pioneers survive, it's never fully explained. We know that MOTH had a project called Project Sanctuary that was build by Vill-V. It is implied that the goal of that Project was to create a "sanctuary" in which humans can survive the Samsara Reset and awakened in the new Cycle. The cryopods which the MOTH used are actually the 5th Divine Key - The Great Hibernation, which was made from the Core of the PE Herrscher of Ice, and that might be why they managed to survive - since that ice is supposed to preserve anything.

i figured today out that you Can Replay Chapter 29-31 in the Collection Tab of the Main-Story Tab, sooo they might gonna do that for the Moon Arc as well, just in the later Updates.

Welt was still of Earth and helped Schicksal and AE to organize and fight the Honkai and Project Stigma. The events in these Chapters happen in 2017. Welt doesn't leave for Star Rail until after 2029.

Because reality creates imaginary worlds, but imaginary worlds cannot exist without reality.
Meaning the forms , could exist alongside the main existence. Pretty much imaginary worlds can exist in their own dimension.
Or Exist in a fourth dimension , where anything can happen. Cartoons, anime, comics, video games, and other imaginary media.
Which exist outside of reality , and can coexist separately, but without destroying the other.

What do you Mean 16:44 "planted ideas into the Core Of Reason ?.
To prevent Bronya from gathering the 300.000 minds (or ideas) that form the Herrscher of Reason's Core, Hare implanted some false ideas in form of her own memories. In this context, since both the Herrscher of Reason and Project Stigma deal with human ideas, what Hare did was basically plant fakes inside the Core to the point where Bronya couldn't keep up with them and had to surrender.
@@HomuLabs Ohhh I see What you mean but I don’t think that the 300,000 Minds make up the Core Of Reason and simply are stored inside of it which help and or assist the the user with creating stuff meaning that like since the Herrscher Of Reason needs to understand the object it wants to create thoroughly the 300,000 Minds assist with that by giving their knowledge or maybe I should I should say sharing that knowledge with the user so the Herrscher Of Reason can create it. so in a nutshell the 300,000 Consciousness shares the knowledge of the object(s) the actual Herrscher Of Reason wants to create so it can create it since the requirement of needing to create that object is understanding thoroughly which is if the Herrscher Of The Reason doesn’t know the 300,000 Minds assist with that.

What I still don't understand is, if the eras are reset by the Herrscher of Finality, how come the people from PE that went to cryosleep could survive? Or am I missing something about the resetting? To me it sounds like she just resets everything to zero which I'd assume is like.. the beginning of earth or maybe the beginning of human civilisation or something but either way shouldn't the remaining flamechasers like Hua and Kevin just, yknow, get reset too or something?
Cryopod is 5th divind key. Absolute zero temperature. All particle stop moving. Considering time stop.
Seele Alter or Veliona is better title than Dark Seele to me. just saying
I suffered trying to read thru all these chapters. They're honestly some of the worst written ones in Part 1. They're like 80% quantum-techno-babble, 20% actual character development. We keep constantly jumping between different spaces, times and levels of narration that it's painful just trying to follow. Thanks for summarizing it.

Yes and no. The Cocoon of Finality can chose whoever it wants to be the Herrscher of Finality. All the Herrschers theoretically are projections of the Cocoon's powers, so you can look at it as one giant Herrscher Core.
