  • Being able to perform a proper clinical exam on your dog is a really important skill to learn, as not only will it be able to tell you a lot about your dog's health, but it can also tell you when there is something wrong and thus when you should consider taking your dog to the veterinary clinic.
    In this veterinary demonstration, Dr. Pieter de Villiers will show you the correct step-by-step process when examining your dog. This video should be helpful for both pet owners and vet students alike, as the process is similar whether you have a lot of knowledge about dogs or if you are just a loving pet parent. :)

    Just letting you know there are forehead scanning thermometers for people. You could use that and scan hairless parts of the dog's skin. Poor Gracie had no idea what was going to happen. I never understood why the only way to take a dog's temperature is to put the termometer in their behind.
