I was Marine Corps infantry for ten years. I recently joined the Army as enlisted Supply. I was just recently accepted to the green to gold program and begin this August. Does anyone have any recommendations for what field they enjoy working as an officer? I was considering infantry again but it's not terribly desirable considering I have a wife and newborn baby now. I'm trying to plan for something that will cross over to the civilian sector and was considering aviation or quartermaster.
A lot of infantry officers have to attend Ranger school, so I don't recommend it either. Whilst Aviation might be a good fit, it's also a 10-12 year service commitment + long training, a good option if you love flying or joining the guard as an officer. If you want to go into the world of computers, there's the Cyber and Signal Corp, 100k a year salary IT and Cyber jobs after you get out as both BOLCs offer a lot of transferable skills and certifications. Ordnance, Quarter Master, and Adjutant General for more logistics and managerial positions. Military Police is good if you want to be a cop afterward, potentially 100k ish salaries too. I can imagine Military Intelligence and Engineering has a lot of transferrable skills too.
The American government should man up and show its muscles to Russia and Putin instead of TARGETING me and ISIOLATING me when i am just a poor weak and unarmed Bosniak who was in a WAR at the age of 8. Basically the Army asks you to make a list of your top 10 favorite jobs, going from most favorite to least favorite. Depending on shortage, they pick one out for you from your list.
I watched this video because I have a FuBu who is a 1st lietuanant. I want to see if the guy I am banging is respected and saluted in the military. So 1st lietuenant is a high rank and passing soldiers are obligated to salute?
As a first lieutenant in CSA, i think you can only have 31 people in your platoon. 12 privates, 6 private first class, 6 corporals, 3 sergeants, 1 something sergeant, 1second lieutenant, and first lieutenant.

He said "as an armored officer, im responsible for..." and they showed a lot of armored vehicles, so no. He's a 19A (Unless they didnt mention something.)
@@SolidusLightning777 they don’t HAVE to have a ranger tab... they can fail ranger school and then keep pushing along as a non tabbed 11A. They just won’t get far in their career.

Can anyone who is not a U.S. citizen by birth be a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army?

11A is Infantry officer, you might of been confused since he is in 3ID, but he is an armored officer 19A
For future reference, a good way to spot an 11A is a Ranger tab on the left shoulder. All infantry officers have to be Ranger Qualified.
@The ReflexBoxer I know that. But OP asked if he's 11A (infantry) and I told OP how to spot 11A when the soldier in the video isn't one
