Question for everyone - If you want to be commissioned, do you go to OCS immediately after BTS? How does it work? I talked to a recruiter and he said i need to enlist as an E4 (Specialist) and then apply for OCS after i've been a Specialist for awhile. Is that correct?
If you have a college degree, you will go in as a specialist, you can apply for OCS before you go in so then your MOS is O9S. You do not need to spend time as a specialist and then apply later.
