Abomination can cause massive destruction in a small town and a farm without being pursued by the army, while the Hulk could accidentally cause damage by stepping on a fire hydrant, prompting Thunderbolt Ross to try to kill him.
That's because Ross wants Banner as a weapon. He can't resist it. Abomination was a failure compared to the Hulk and so he continued his infatuation with the Hulk and Banner. Ironically, if he treated Banner better and as a proper son in law, he'd have been way more likely to have gone along with Ross's idiotic plans
Oh wow! I actually had this issue! I still may have it at my mom's house! She surprised me with it after a shopping trip years ago. She knew I was really into the Hulk at the time.
There is a comic or a meeting between The Thing vs Abomination, literally both are Hulk's most iconic rivals. I don't know why they don't fight, but speaking of this fight of hulk vs abomination I would say that this is the best fight of both, he said, there are many panels here, which in the comics barely show anything🙄, this fight is great but I would say that they wasted panels focusing on those two useless ones in the helicopter,
That’s a common thing forgotten about with Hulk. Call it whatever you want, but Hulk (2003) was the best incarnation to me. His size correlated with his anger. I’m not saying he gets the size of a house but he does get bigger. Only makes sense that with immeasurable muscle mass if you don’t grow wide you must grow up? TLDR: he does get bigger, it was forgotten about
Loved this story arc for 3 specific reasons. One, it showcases that people actually die during Hulk encounters (unlike WWH where Amadeus Cho explains Banner's influence over Hulk minimizes collateral damage). Don't like what the Illuminati did to Hulk, but I understand the decision why. Two, Hulk is not as invincible as some would like to believe. Abomination is way stronger than Hulk normally. Abomination could kill Hulk if he wasn't tunnel-visioned or braggadocios. Against beings of similar or greater power levels, Hulk has to survive the encounter long enough to become sufficiently enraged for a strength boost. Doon explained this to Gray Hulk during his fight with a mutated and OP Thing within Central Park. Three, two of the most physically powerful and highly intelligent beings to walk the earth, like every other man, can lose focus over their feelings for a woman (LOL).
@@brothersofwrath4785 No, he can beat the Hulk if he remains focused upon the task at hand. Abomination was created as a mortal foil for Hulk. As a result, he is twice as strong, just as durable and SMART (not theoretical, but REAL WORLD common sense). Blonsky was a spy. So he wasn't exactly stupid either. Abomination staggered and bled Hulk with his 1st punch. Hulk didn't overcome Abomination until he brought up Betty.
@@ernestadamsjr.2662Abomination can’t kill hulk as easy, if at all, as your making it seem. Hulks durability also increases throughout the duration of a fight. Yes abomination at a base level is stronger than hulk but KILLING ?? Nah
Hey Banner, if i had to start on a hulk issue run, would you have a recommendation? Ive read immortal hulk and all of the other issues after that and am currently caught up.
Hold on Which "personality" or version of the Hulk is that cause that hulk is pretty intelligent or Bruce somehow had more control of the hulk at the time?
In thor vs hulk what banner is talking about came true in that movie loki removed the soul of banner from the hulk and sent him on a rampage he damn near destroyed asgard and everyone so i believe he could had really toppled the planet
Hulk and Abomination can be seen as a modern-day retelling of the classic David and Goliath story. Just as David was able to defeat the giant Goliath with his cunning and determination, Abomination (Emil Blonsky) sees himself as the underdog who can take down the green goliath, the Incredible Hulk. This dynamic highlights the contrasting personalities and approaches of the two characters. Hulk, like Goliath, is a powerful force to be reckoned with, driven by raw strength and emotion. Abomination, like David, is more strategic and calculating, using his intelligence and military training to try and outmaneuver his opponent. It's a compelling narrative that adds depth to their conflicts and showcases the complexities of their rivalry!

Comic logic-
Tbf Ross has personal issues with Hulk and will do anything to kill him
we do live in a society
@@jonathanathor117 sometimes I question if we do anymore-

Poor Dad and Daughter at the beginning 😢 Blonsky could've just ignored them... He was really asking for it
Yep.
I mean writers were not consistent with Emil's character
Prior to this he literally led an office of storytellers
Even after Abomination killed Bruce's wife Betty Ross, it didn't stop Bruce from clapping Abomination's wife Nadia. 😅😅😅
Did Bruce went out his way for those cheeks, or Nadia seduce him, if I remember correctly she was a government spy?
Eye for an eye. 🤷♂
Did that actually happen???
@@Zeil_tha_dragon yes it did. Bruce Jones's run on Incredible Hulk is brutal.
That’s probably why Betty’s dad didn’t like him cause he wasn’t loyal
How many comics solely focused on the Hulk humbling the Abomination are there? 🤣
YES
7:40 I LOVE that angry savage artstyle that perfectly captures the rage and intensity!! reminds me of PITT or The Maxx
*If there's one thing the Hulk hates, it's abusers, The Abomination got screwed*
Bruce using Hulk powers was a surprise and pretty cool. Wish we’d see more of that.
Savage Banner but better
It’s a mix of both him and hulk
Oh wow! I actually had this issue! I still may have it at my mom's house! She surprised me with it after a shopping trip years ago. She knew I was really into the Hulk at the time.
I already know Bruce’s childhood trauma was kicking in when all this was going on.
This is one of my all time favorite fights that the Hulk has been in.
When Hulk threw Abomination right through the chopper at the end of the video .... damn, talk about killing two birds with one stone!!!
People act as if hulk has a no kill rule. Even in 1960s he used a Gun on aliens
Русская поговорка
Have to give Abomination credit deep down he knows this is only going to end one way, yet he still try's.
Don't ever piss him off, especially if it's about Betty Ross.😮
Banner and hulk work together to mauled abomination.
That sock from Banner was beautiful
He HAD to press the Betty button, didn't he?
Isn't Betty Ross Red She Hulk anymore ?
@@HepCatJack this was from 2003
Red she hulk was not a thing until 2008
You’d think Abomination would learn by now 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Love the Frieza effect with Hulk to Banner
So hulk is 3 meters tall here
He started out 2,13 in 60s

Abomination only actually beat hulk in 1960s

not much intelligent as he thinks, though. He made the huge tactical error of enraging Hulk by flat out reminding him of how he killed Betty.

Who is Hulk’s greatest rival…Abomination or The Leader??
It was red hulk at certain point but now it’s the leader.

General Ross

I thought Abomination was dead 😳
Keep up with the chronology and all Will become clear
This was back during the early 2000s
What’s the name of this comic if anyone can help me out 😂
After Hank Pym and Starfox, Marvel Comics destroy a another character. This story is stupid.
