Is it the same powder used for aluminum powder coatings? and for curing what is temperature needed and for how long, is it 180 degree C for 10 mins as for the aluminum?
It is similar to what used for aluminum but specifically formulated to cater to the needs of MDF. As MDF is a heat sensitive material, the powder is designed to cure at a much lower temperature. We have multiple products in the assortment and each has its own curing schedule.

Our MDF powder coating is VOC and toxins free, so in principal they are safe to use on children's furniture. However some children furniture has certain specifications, so its always recommended to compare technical data sheet to the specification. It is low bake powder but please specify baking temperature, is it 100 degree celcius?

Can we use metal powder coating equipment for mdf?
No, this equipment is more precise than the one for metal. However, it is possible to powder coat metal using this equipment without a problem.
