  • Binding & Working Modes of R12F
RadioLink T12D comes with a R12F receiver. They are bound at the factory. So there is no need to re-bind them when you receive it. But if you buy a new R12F receiver. You need to bind it to the transmitter. I’m going to show how to bind R12F to T12D.
There are 2 steps for binding.
    1.Select receiver protocol.
    2.Bind.
First, Enter MAIN menu--Receiver settings--RF settings--make sure the module selection is set to internal. And for protocol, R12F supports FHSS V1, V2 and V2.1. FHSS V1 and V2 protocols support 8 channels, but FHSS V2.1 protocol supports 16 channels. When using R12F, if FHSS V1 or FHSS V2 protocol is selected, only 8 channels are available on the receiver. So it is recommended to select FHSS V2.1 protocol.
For details of the receiver protocols and compatible receivers, please refer to the table on the screen.
    Now, bind them.
1.Power on the transmitter and the receiver. The flashing LED of the receiver indicates there is no binding between the the transmitter and the receiver. And also there is no signal tower on the screen of T12D.
    2. Keep a distance of about 30cm between the transmitter and receiver.
    3. There is a tiny black binding button on the side of the receiver. Press and hold it until the LED flashes fast.
    4. The solid light of the receiver indicates the binding is complete, and the signal tower on the screen of the transmitter shows the binding is successful. If binding fails, the LED of the receiver will keep flashing slowly, please repeat the binding steps.
Once their binding succeeds, it will be stored.
Then let’s talk about the working modes of R12F. R12F supports three signal outputs: PWM, SBUS and CRSF. It has four working modes in total.
For working modes switch, we have 2 methods:
(1)Turning on/off the SBUS: Short press the binding button once to turn on/off the SBUS. Blue LED indicates the SBUS is turned on.
(2)Turning on/off the CRSF: Short press the binding button twice within 2 seconds to turn on/off the CRSF. Green LED indicates the CRSF is turned on.
Let’s check the four working modes. The signal LED here can show you the current working mode.
1.Red LED always on indicates PWM signal output, 12 channels in PWM signal.
2.Short press the binding button once to turn on the SBUS signal. Red and blue LED always on indicates PWM+SBUS signals output.
3.Short press the binding button twice to turn on the CRSF. Red, green, and blue LED always on indicates PWM+CRSF+SBUS signals output.
4.Short press the binding button once to turn off the SBUS signal. Red and green LED always on indicates PWM+CRSF signals output.
