i was really hoping they would delve into bringing underwater weapons to the surface, i know they announced staff awhile ago, but i was hoping for harpoon 1 handed/javalin/paragon. range could be like 600-900, i can still hope and dream i guess option is still there.
I already play Core Warrior Support in PvP but with Dagger+Warhorn and Hammer. About 700k heal at the End.. maybe Staff can improve it.
I am super hyped for these new weapons, and new build options.
A man can dream, right?
It seems the ones we've seen so far are trying to open up new builds.
Just wait to see there be a flag/banner skin for staves now.

How do you equip the staff, I tried looking for a staff as a warrior but it says I can’t equip them due to my class being the warrior, where do we get the special staffs
I only have the base warrior I don’t have any of the elite specs since I didn’t buy the expansion, is that why it won’t allow me to equip staffs
It plays battle wise just like i wanted it to. 🎉 Im surprised its a bit of a support.
I'm a bit behind. So these new weapons aren't specs? they are for any traits you pick? so I can still use spellbreaker and then the new staff weapon?

I hate to say, but I'm really disappointed. I was hoping with all my soul that the staff would function like a spear. THE GAMES NEEDS SPEAR WIELDING WARRIORS! Although I love greatswords, longbow, sword and torch, etc., it's really sad that games (not just GW2) doesn't care about making a spear wielding class.
Just imagine if you could use your warrior waving a staff like if it was a glaive/halberd.
Would you really rather have staff be a spear and all but confirm real spears will never appear? Or have staff be different because they’re leaving the door open to spears on land in some form

After seeing all these weapons. I’m really excited to see what rev’s mechanic will be on scepter. Hoping for different effects based on legend.
AWESOME... The Class does so much damage, but has low survivability unless you have SUPER high Skill and Gear....

I hate it so much. Warrior is for WAR. We don't need a support warrior.
The iteration is perfect though. Staff is a weapon of WAR. Being used as a front lining support and not backline.

Not a fan of this. Imo some things just sound wrong XD and heal warrior is one of them. Its like a contradiction in itself. I get the mindset of gw2 but sometimes they're just stretching it. If all of us can perform all the roles then there's no more uniqueness left in a class. We can just play some dummy model that looks and feels like everyone else.
I agree gw2 has a major case of every class can do everything role
and in Warrior's case, Arena net gives worst roles and even worse mechanics for them@@braven5430 no tank warrior, cause condi eats it alive, no dps cause its slow as fuck, underperforming weapon skills and utilites, and constant nerfs nerfs cause fking necros and thiefs cry cause instead of 11 stun damage warrior did it does 22 crit , its pathetic what Arena net doing to warrior for past 8 years, and banner removal was a bichslap to all of warriors
Yep like guardian pistol lmao who tf who would go into a game choosing the obvious tanky/paladin spec and then suddenly find out dual pistols is meta
Healing warrior is LITERALLY one of THE things people in this game have begged for for over a decade. You can’t throw a rock without hitting a fanmade elite spec set where the warrior is a monk and it’s just healing warrior (bonus points for often being staff)
