Geely's self driving tech still has a long way to go. Just saw a video where an E5 can't hold the lane by itself. Otherwise they make some nice looking cars, although Chinese say online that Geely cuts corners where it's not directly visible to the naked eye. The Link&Co Z10 is probably a cousin of the Geely Galaxy E8 as well as a rebranded Zeekr 001. Lynk&Co was known for the Volvo ICE engine tech, very strong design identity and not for everyone. Zeekr is regarded as a little more premium while Geely is the goat of cheap cars image wise. Interesting marketing choices for the E8 and the Z10.

Fast charging is just for marketing. When you have more than two vehicles charging you will have limited speed and it will take forever to fill up. Here in Finland most transformers are at about 400kW and then you have about 6 satellites. Think about these cars with 600kW peak charging speed. It means you have a mean speed of about 400kW so you need to have a transformers rated for 2.4 MW😮. China is ahead with their charging infrastructure, where most of these will be sold. They have faster charge points there and some of the new batteries prefer to be charged to full. Maybe the plan is to make stations where folks can “refuel” like ICE cars, anytime they want, to full as well, enabling more people to move the EVs faster. As more manufacturers are working on solid state batteries, bringing the charge time down, close to ICE refueling time, that allow those that want to get going faster to do so and with longer range, that solves the range anxiety thing that’s preventing others from getting an EV.

I would consider this car if I move to Australia..Canada is a shit show…non of the battery plants are going to be built..our PM is happy we are #1 in carbon emissions per capita
Doing good, wish they would hurry up and put the solid-state batteries in EVs and make them go 1000K on a single charge. Also, the price should be reasonable. Laugh at me all you like this could well be reality in the next 2 years.
Life is all about choices and we're spoilt with so many EV car models now 😊❤
Sadly it's gonna cost Double in the west.
