Really like this series, as there is not a lot of them yet. Unfortunately most of the Vanquish-Products are sold out, would be good to have some alternatives listed as well.

After moving to Calif..he produces a video, having the "Vanquish Bomber" in the video..I cannot seem find a Part 2 or more..did he ever continue with that build, having video..please link me if so..

hey harley, love this series. I have been fallowing along with the dead bolt also.
Im at the point where im about to install the VDI, and the vanquish stage one parts at the same time.
Just one question and i guess this is for anyone: at this point while doing these mods, would it be a smart idea to go ahead and throw in a front axle beef tube? i have never tackled that mod but it seems like it might be a good choice at this point.
Any insight would be helpful.

The only time I run tubes is when I was using the XR mod on standard SCX10 axles.
I got a question. I have vanquish ar60 v2 axles , vanquish stage 1 shown in this video and the steel incision kit. I got it all installed but the toe out is insane how do I align it ? I crank the rod ends all the way down and still lots of toe out up front
Probably have the tie rod in the wrong location. Move it under the steering arm on the knuckle.

i used every part that u did and my steering rod hits my servo.. is there somthing i missed
+Earl rc guy martin you can simply adjust the angle of your rod ends to get it to the right position. You want your tie rod to be close to the axle for the best clearance, so it just takes a little adjusting.
thank you im not quite shue what u mean sir i am new to this i rotated my c huhs a bit and it cleared not shure if that is the corect way. i donr follow what you mean about adjusting tie rod. thank you for taking the the time wwith me...

It seams to have turned into the Axial RR10 Bomber "Vanquish" Build. I no you now work for Vanquish and a lot of the parts on my own trucks are Vanquish but I'm loosing interest. I liked Harley Designs because it taught me some fabrication not just things from the Vanquish catalogue.
+Legoman585 many of the items needed, we have so I use them. But this build is going to get much more difficult now as most the easy weak points are fixed.

The use of Vanquish is probably also because they make the best products for this application. I have seen him install other products. I would opt for T-Bone protection for the axles and chassis if they make them.
I'm not questioning the quality of Vanquish products as I said I use lots of Vanquish products myself. I am asking for modifications that are not of the shelf.

you know I dig your builds but at the same time really all you're doing is promoting your Vanquish products which are grossly overpriced. I just picked up a set of four 2.2s on Amazon that look exactly like a set of your rims that cost about 1/3 of what you guys charge. Now how is that possible? I understand American made and all that and when and where I can I do support american-made products but at the same time it's made on a CNC machine. whoever made those rims made it probably on the same exact machine you guys run at your shop as well. So how is it that they only cost one third? I really wish that I could afford Vanquish products because I would support your company but I can't... This hobby is expensive as is without paying 2/3 more for products that are an identical match, makes no sense to spend the extra money especially when I hear customer service isn't all that great.
Our customer service is hard to match, we warranty nearly anything, and take care of people better than any Chinese manufacturer I’ve seen. Our wheels are made of a higher grade aluminum all around, which is a significant difference over cheap Chinese material. Our machining is much cleaner, and of course we are the ones who worked with the manufacturer of the full size to come up with the style that they inevitably ripped off. Then add in that we also support local hobby shops, meaning we have to price our parts so that local businesses can buy from us and still make money also. If we took out all margin that we give to stores and distributors, then we would have a significantly different price. But we find the value in having local businesses and not try to cut them out. The Chinese do none of that and it is a large reason why many hobbyshops will continue to close.
