to get full power for a burnout without doing this switch, go ahead and turn everything off like he did in the video, pull the locker knob out (here is the important part!) as soon as you start the burnout click the locker button back in, it will let it rip. it will keep the tires locked in the rear until you let off. there’s limiters and for whatever reason when you click the locker back off it full sends it. been doing it this way for a couple years, no issues!
Good stuff, its better if you go through a normally closed side of a relay and then the switch opens the circuit to disable traction control. Just don’t forget to fuse the circuit.
I have a 17 king ranch with spe tunes and the diff lock mod and my traction control does the same exact thing and it's so annoying its like a waste of money buying and installing the diff lock mod so I am super glad you found this out

If you turn on your diff lock it turn your abs back on leave the diff lock off and turn off traction control and advance trac and you can do burnouts without pissing off your abs module
So just some easy info. You cannot spin the rear wheels with the locker engaged. It’s a safety for your rear diff. If you leave everything off and leave the locker off then the truck will spin no problem. I was able to do drifts and donuts no problem in my 2014 f150 with no locker engaged. It had 35” tires and the v8. All sorts of fun without blowing the locker
And then you would have battery die from sending power to the system while your in bed sleeping...no that wouldn't be a good idea, it's better on switched power

(see my key) so from going to the mykey page sounds like the person or dealership could have locked that feature out with your key. I’m wondering if you deleted your key and went through the steps again. You said that you’ve seen guys turn rubber before but yours won’t. Just a thought it wouldn’t surprise me that the dealerships are locking people out of sinister mode lol.
Can you do it the other way where you have the switch on to disable this feature? Cause I noticed you have to have switch ON to make it Normal. Can I have the switch ON for the Fun setting?
My fully deleted 2016 won’t burn out when I turn the advanctrac off but if I just turn the traction control off, they’ll light up Ford said it was power management programming they have built into the modules or some shit like that
I hear there is a Dyno mode you can bring up that shuts everything off with no codes pulling fuses etc it’s so you can put your truck on a Dyno. Have you heard of this

I have a 2011 and mine goes full send as soon as I turn it off?? I can burn as long and far as I want and no problem when off road either I don’t even have to use my 4WD sometimes when I start to dig I just turn traction control off and start slinging and it eats itself out

Hey Corey! I don’t have the upfitter switches, could I run a 12v line to one side of a switch and come out of the other side with a fused circuit to the negative side of the pin and do the same? I’m truly not sure how the upfitter switches work? Thanks for any help! Mines a 16, if I press t/c twice I can’t do a burnout at all. If I press it once and hold till advance trac goes off I can do a burnout with out engaging the locker. I’ve never seen a truck with electronic locker engaged allow you to overpower the rear by much without some sort of mod. Can’t you order them with a traditional locker? When I ordered my ‘14 I remember it being available. Maybe I’m wrong? I’d be careful letting the tires grab with the e locker. I thought there was a mod to allow the e locker to not disengage that wasn’t so cumbersome too. Seemed like spe or someone similar had a way to trick the computer into not seeing it engage
My F-150 would do a good ass burnout if I only clicked traction control off..When I turned advance trac off it wouldn’t do one worth a shit weird but it worked

Could be wrong here, but have you tryed it without the rear diff locked.? Alot of vehicles OE have a rev/speed limiter active when locker is active. Either way pretty innovative way to go Full Send.. lol..
@TopCorey check out ForScan to shut off the TPMS on the truck to get rid of the light. With ForScan you can turn on and off all kinds of things by rewriting perimeters on the trucks computer system. I turned on and unlocked (use navi in motion) Navigation on my truck and turned on bambi mode (fog lights stay on with high beams). Its a really cool system check it out.

If your wrench indicator is on but you PPEI tuner doesn't detect any trouble codes then don't worry about it. If you don't have a PPEI tuner then I guess you should of made a better investment!
I spoke with him, if the wrench is on keep driving for a few and it will clear it’s self. I actually ended up figuring out that it clears its self on my truck also if I just drive for a little and the truck sees it has communication with the ABS system. 👍
Hmm, I have no issue with advancetrac but when I turn mine off, I just press and hold the traction control button, I don’t let go and do it hit the button twice, just hold that button down, it will say traction control off *keep holding* then it will say advancetrac off

My 2020 Sierra 3500 you push and hold traction, the traction will turn off, and you keep holding it after you see that, and then another message pops up and then everything is deactivated... I know it works, because it slide like hell when you mash on the gas. Maybe try this with your Ford... press and continue to hold, don’t repress

Try going from everything normal and then hold traction control off bottom for 5 seconds from the beginning it should disable both traction control and advance trac When you turn off traction control and then hold it I believe it turns traction control back on an then turns just advance trac off

hey i got a question for you! i have a 2015 ford escape 2.0 EcoBoost with 122k. recently when i first start my car and i usually let it idle for about 3 minutes and i put it in drive and the car jolts a little bit! if i put it in reverse or neutral its all smooth! once the car warms up everything is smooth like coming out of a store start the car put it in drive and its smooth only when i first start my car, my transmission was rebuilt at 53k and now has 122k on it, last week i did do a transmission drain and fill on it and the transmission fluid was dirty and black! but it did have a little red color to it! and the transmission fluid didnt smell burnt. it seemed to fix the problem start the car in the morning put it in drive all smooth! i think the problem is coming back when i put the car in drive its very slight jerk, do you think i should do another drain and fill on the transmission to get more of the dirty fluid out? any advice? oh yeah no check engine light on.

If you unplug an ABS sensor from a rear wheel, it works
Use a relay and set the fuse up to the normally close so you can have the upfitter off regularly and on when you want to disable it

Mine only limits power when I engage the rear locker. Gives me full power when locker is not engaged. Maybe a safety thing to save the locker
You should of hooked it to switch 5 or 6. You can make them hot all time and then just flip the switch to turn it off.
5 and 6 is 40 amp dont wanna waste it on that

I’d use a relay to KILL the power when the switch is turned. Not the way you have it set up

Depends on what kind of rear end you have on if it unlocks or doesn’t.
Disable the advance track then tap the button three times fast it will go into “sport mode” which I believe disables everything.

It’s the manual mode. It makes it so he chooses when it shifts.

I never do burn out but my e locker turns off 20 mph or so. That's badass your locker stays locked to 70 mph wheel speeds 👍
His only stays locked past 20 because he’s running a lock kit that SPE sells. I bought one for my truck but haven’t installed it yet.

I believe the diff lock cuts power, it does for sure on my 5.0 f150 but don’t have that option on my 6.7

When I do this it clocks my steering wheel 90 degrees. Put the fuse back and my steering wheel centers again.

It wont spin because you have the locker engaged push the locker button back in and she’ll spin
If you press the traction control button twice it will say “advance track sport mode” I think it disables everything

u should but a 30amp fuse back inline i think the aux is unfused
Aux 1 of the uplifter switches has a 25A fuse.
