I also love the whole routine around opening my Advents!! What I have started doing is. A couple of years ago I ordered two Advents. So I opened them both but saved one to knit for the following year. Now each year my Advent knitting is from the previous year and this way I can open my current ones before deciding what they will become. This year I will be knitting the killarney scarf with my 2023 Advent from dandelion and Dogwood. I'm so excited to open two this year. Chelsea Yarns and Leap of Faith Yarns. I also order a tea advent each year. I brew my tea, read a bible verse, open each of the current years advents and then knit a few rows from the previous years Advent!!! I look forward to watching you both this season.
Oh my goodness, I make sourdough bread every week for my family!! It’s so fun and delicious!!! You should make a side video showing your process Corrina!
The sweater you are wearing Jenn caught my eye from the get-go and I had to pop over to Ravelry to grab the pattern. All the makes you both show are inspiring and I look forward to seeing what you make with your advents. Cheers to your type of community service 😂
Such Beautiful sweaters today ladies! ❤ Love hearing about your Advent plans… I have 3 myself and I’m getting very excited!! Enjoy your holiday’s with your family, and will see you on vlogmas!! 🎄❄️⛄️🎅🏻🤶🏻🙏
I have been doing The Cozy Knitter advent sock since 2019. It has become a Christmas tradition for me and I am looking forward to it again this year❤️🧶
Love the video! Can’t wait for the start of Advents!!! It was fun to see you at The Yarn Cabin. I was there two weeks ago… ❤️ So welcoming and warm feeling. Met some of the ladies that will be at retreat also.
Hi Ladies!! Love BOTH of the sweaters you are wearing! Perfection! Ok, I have been knitting on Mae's Shawl...and have something to share with the rest of the Knitting Up North event, and can't remember the link for this. Where should I share? You can message me if that is better. 😊
Yay!! I have another person Vlogmas to watch! My family and I do Vlogmas, I started while in nursing school and it's been fun. This will be year 4...I wish I could come to y'all retreat since it's my birthday month and I've never been to that part of the country. Maybe the next time! Have a great holiday season
I have been making sourdough bread for the last 5 years. I’ve investigated all the main people in the sourdough world. I find the best and easiest process is from Elaine Foodbod Sourdough. She is delightful and helps you every step of the way. Janie’s Mill from Illinois has the healthiest organic flour to bake with. I’ve held 2 classes to teach sourdough bread making using her method for my friends to pass on healthy bread, just the joy of it. They are loving it!
I love the idea of Betwixmas!!!!

I would love a starter dough. I have never had one. How do you start one from scratch?

So, have you explored patterns? Do you know what you're making?
I’ve looked at patterns but eeek, so many! And like Jenn said, it’s hard to know what color combos there are…
