I'm so sorry to hear about your Kitty, Corinne. It's never easy losing a beloved animal that's shared your house for a time. Sending you hugs from NorCal. I was one of the lucky ones that was able to get my hands on this year's Selection Box. It is DELICIOUS! Thank you to all the lovely TWT staff for working so hard to bring such joy to my needles. You guys are the best!!!
Sorry for the loss of your cat, Corinne. I remember your coop casts from back in the day; loved the sound of your chickens. All of the segments are wonderful and fun to watch. Love Emma's cup cozey and will definitely check that out. Thank you especially to Kelsey for the practical gift knitting advice. I appreciate your knitting words of wisdom!
My Emotional Support Chicken went to Maghaberry, NI. My daughter fell completely in love with her, but our little granddaughter likes to invite her for “tea!” It’s time to make another, but I really should FINISH SOMETHING FIRST! Argh! I’m finishing up my Dacite (Stolen Stiches - Carol Feller) just in time for our New Hampshire winter. It’s made from Lettlopi in a beautiful shade of blue. Maybe “Heaven Blue.” Thanks for introducing me to the joy of woolly knitting!
Such an enjoyable shopcast! Loved seeing Corinne’s Mouche & Friends duck. I’ve just recently purchased the book and two kits, getting ready for the arrival of a great nephew early next year! I’m now inspired!
I knit a beautiful pair of mittens in Rauma for my aunt and immediately wanted them back after I sent them so I am working on a pair for myself! A double gift knit- one for my aunt, one for me :) The Rauma is from y'all of course!
I loved seeing the Appledore Aran colors! Pig Snout is such a cute name and beautiful color. I knitted the Hudson Ripple Bandana in Appledore DK (Pig Snout) and loved it.
Corinne, I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending you loving, healing energy in a time of grief. It's another fantastic episode. Watching you guys is dangerous because it makes me want all the yarn and books. Happy Thanksgiving! Happy knitting 💚🧶💚
This month turned from wonderfully beautiful 80 to snowy 20’s seemingly overnight. It’s double sweater weather! All the woolly wool from TWT --Now! Happy Thanksgiving and the beginning of Advent.
I think I will try your Vanilla Sweater kit. I have not made a garmet yet but I think with your videos I could do it. Hoping I have some Christmas money coming!!
This was my first time to watch. Everthing was very enjoyable. I love love love books and am adding the Mouche and Friends and Mosaic Chart and Directory to my "want" list. I enjoy knitting and crocheting both of these type items. I am glad to know you sell books. Thank you! 🧶
Yay duck knitting! I am ready to gift Hazel the squirrel myself. I really have to keep reminding myself it is ok NOT to craft for gifts. While nice (and I have some), I tend to drive myself crazy with the guilt, which sucks all the joy out of the season. So thank you Kelsey for your reminder.
I always love watching all the excitement in your wooly world! Corrine, had the same problem in decreasing the arm holes when I knit the McCartney sweater which I turned into a vest. I usedJamieson and smith 2 ply and after I steeked the arm holes, I did cut it to decrease the amount of fabric and it turned out just fine!! I steeked with the sewing machine and have blocked it- I m wearing it now. Thanks for all your stories of knitting challenges and successes!
Thank you for a happy kickoff to the weekend before US Thanksgiving. It is a tough time and your company, the new ideas, and beautiful yarns in this episode really help. I finished a pair of fingerless mitts for the gift drawer while I watched and our first snow in Pennsylvania is falling. Great episode, good times, Thanks.
Those John Arbon yarns look so delicious! Hoping to get to drive up to the brick and mortar store from Boston one of these days to get to experience it in person. ❤
I was born female in the 50s. Guilt was injected in the delivery room!!!😂 I lapped up all the crochet joy right out of the gate! It such a great feeling to find a book you know you are going to wear out. Your resilient attitude about your Flowers of Fortrose vest is truly inspiring, Corrine. I have absorbed that nugget of wisdom. Maggie, your DK socks are so delightful. I'm doing the same pattern with John Arbor Colorlab DK in a variegated colorway and love how it looks. Emma's segment was fascinating and love the mug cozy. Thank you for all your hard work, multitasking, and generosity. TWT is the bee's knees!!!
Love the Shopcast... "It's a good thing!" like Martha, hahaha! You both are so funny. I always enjoy seeing what everyone is knitting. Kelsey, your cardigan colors are gorgeous!!!! That all plays together so nicely. Have a great day everyone!
I love your podcasts and yarns! And, now that you are local -- WOW! I wonder if you have any plans to host knitting groups/gatherings and/or classes? 🤞
You’re big business in my book darlings 😊

Love your podcasts!
For your lovely vest, you could always felt your steek. when you get to a shape you want. Or maybe whip stitch the edge.

Thank you Kelsey for sharing the notion that we do not HAVE to knit gifts, if we don't want to. Happy Shopcast! Thank you!
