There’s something undeniably glamorous about a lace bookmark. 💕 (It’s almost like lingerie for your books! I hope that’s not too scandalous for this audience ...) Thanks for the tutorial!
Thank you so much, Jayda! ❣️ This will be the perfect gift to slip into the thank you notes to so many people who helped me with the memorial service for my dear husband who passed away on May 13. 💖🌷💕
Oh my, that is so sad. Glad that you were surrounded by wonderful people that helped you and I'm sure they will appreciate the heartfelt gift personally made by you. Many blessings to you
Thank y'all so much, Michelle, Dill, Carlene, and Brooklyn! I had my faith, and wonderful friends and family, plus the thoughts of all the giggling times of the InStitches family to sustain me.
Love this bookmark. Jayda that blue cape you are wearing is gorgeous! I’m sure everyone is dying to know if you are teasing us about an upcoming tutorial...(hint hint) lol. Thank you for making wonderful creations and sharing them with all of us.
That's lovely Jayda. So delicate. Great idea for gifts. I have the perfect light yarn that I bought on impulse 🙄and now I know what to make from it. 😊 Thanks
I check all your tutorials for a pattern for the blue shawl you are wearing. Any chance you have a tutorial and I missed it? Loving the look of the adorable cape shawl.
Wow, I love how diverse the patterns can be depending on hooks size and yarn size, from blanket to bookmark. Maybe a a headband too? Lovely bookmark. Thank you Jayda❣️💜🥰
Thank you Jayda for another awesome and pretty project! I made mine with a 4wt cotton and a G 4.0 crochet hook and it turned out pretty big.... 14 inches without tassel. Oh my. Maybe I should have done less cookies.... this one will have to be for a big book. Lol
Thanks Jayda, one can never have too many bookmarks. Depending on the book and my mood which bookmark is chosen. This will be one, or probably more, definitely to be added to the collection.
Hello Chrissy, I just watched your 100 count of gorgeous yarn video and loved them all. So many things popped into my mind to do. It' would be like Christmas to get all that. Really love the variegated and the glitter wine colored skeins. Would be so happy to win. Luke your informative videos. Just finishing a blouse project you led me to. Looks good. Have a safe Memorial Day. Virginia Scamard
Now I know how to use all my scrap yarn I have no use for anything else because it's just a bunch of little balls. Also it will keep me occupied enough between the patterns for the Mile-a-Minute blanket. The cookie pattern was way too fast to make so the most of May I've spent waiting for the first Friday of June. :D
Gonna have to try this. Do you have any videos that go over a stitch that its a bit more of a lace? Attempting to crochet a dress and cannot find a pattern that works well
Hi Serene, we have several stitch pattern tutorials, you might find something you like in our Victorian Stitch Sampler playlist, there are 12 different stitch patterns in that project and one of them might suit your needs: th-cam.com/play/PLU-tvdaf-FneHrzEZ4QgiEc32_XeCXTvU.html

Hi Jayda, I have a friend who is 70 next month and I would like to make the victorian bookmark you are showing here (the one you describe as the victorian one - in goldish looking yarn). Do you have a TH-cam video demonstrating how to make this one? Thank you, Angela :)
@@JaydaInStitches Hi Jayda, thank you for your reply. Sorry to bother you again but can you tell me the make/manufacturer of the Goldish looking yarn - or the name of it and who sells it - as I will have to order it in. Thank you Angela :)
Hi! Either one would be just fine, the Summer Nights is easy to work with and has a little sparkle (making it extra pretty in my opinion!) but as it's a bookmark, fiber isn't too much of a concern for this project :)
Hi Adrienne, everyone's taste is a little different, you could make him this bookmark but add a simple sc edging (to be less lacy) and make it in his favourite colour :)
I usually avoid crochet thread because the one I've tried always twists off the ball. Could you tell me what brand you use because they look easier to work with + gorgeous colours are available. Thanks!
Hi Valerie! This orange variegated thread I used is an old vintage ball (long lost label) but I do use a lot of Aunt Lydia crochet thread which I enjoy. ALL threads that come spun on a cardboard core will twist as they come off, which, yes, is totally annoying! I find that if I let the whole ball dance around inside a bowl, it reduces the twist action a little :)
