I love these book marks, old charm just waiting for a good book.Make a cup of coffee, or chi tea I love😋 crawl up under a warm blanket. With book mark in hand, waiting to mark your pages read. Thanks for the video❤️
I'm new to crocheting. Love your chanel. You explain so well. Am in the UK so having to change the stitch names to UK, but because you explain so well, it's easy to do. Will be making these this evening for Christmas presents for my family. They're lovely.
I started watching your videos because I was stumbling around TH-cam looking for something to watch to send me to sleep - your voice is so calming, now I watch your videos every night (so glad you have a second channel) HOWEVER: now I also started to crochet 😂 you make it look easy (actually it’s not) I got some hooks from Amazon and some yarn, I even got out a pattern from a 1949 crochet and knitting magazine (I can send you the instructions if you want another mystery make) Really, I’m writing this to say thank you so much for all the content you put out. My life has improved for having your videos in them (though my finger joints might disagree 😂)
Loving these so much OMG you wonderful woman I "thought" I knew how to do a picot but I certainly did not, ty again for all these wonderful tutorials, you are a great teacher (love that you make an oopsie now and then just as I do ;) )
I had this pattern booklet for years. Decades. But I never used it so sent it to Goodwill with other unused crafts a while back. Then as often happens I regretted giving it away because I finally wanted to use it. I'm happy to see you found a copy to share.
I just love watching you crochet! Your voice is very calming. I even watch your videos while I'm crocheting something entirely different from your project.
Beautiful ❤ I was wondering about these yesterday while watching the mystery crochet video and today I enter your channel to see if I have missed something and here they are! YT did not informed me of this upload but thankfully I found it myself. Looking forward for the others, I made the first one (n 3) as a bday gift for a friend and colleague she is a literature teacher so she always have a book in her hands
Love them, am making a shawl out out #1, with red and white beads on the picots, one change though, instead of 3dc in center, I'm doing a shell of 2dc+2ch+2dc. I love your channel
such fun! These are easy and quick and super to make for impromptu gifts for my reading friends ... thank you so much for the opportunity to use my grandmother's vintage steel crochet hooks!!!!!
Thank you for naming your model. Ms. Millie is great. Ironic because when I saw her first time in 69 dress I thought good golly Ms. Molly... close 😊 love these book marks. Fun quick little projects. Yes I did get that Juliette dress pattern as too cute! Thanks for all you do 🧡
For some reason my cat is completely mesmerised by this video 😂 (I mean I know I find crochet videos relaxing, but she’s never shown an interest before)
Yay ! been waiting for these. I have made 5 of the first pattern you put out and have given them to dear friends. 3 are variegated and two from an ivory cream colour - one of which I added a thin gold thread - so pretty 😍😍 Have just returned from a weeks travelling with an old friend - exhausting but wonderful, and all I want to do now is be still and quiet and crochet a bit, and these two will be the perfect start to my weekend. Happy crochet weekend to all. much love from South Africa xx !
It has surprised of how easy this pattern was to do. I wrote before that I have had this pattern for years (thinking over 20 yrs) never tried it because I thought that it was to hard. But now that I look back on things, maybe it was a good thing that I didn't try it because I have over 20 yrs, of crocheting under my belt and am a better crocheter then I was 20 yrs ago. (And you were not on U-tube then😀.
I love these! Both are beautiful! As much as I love the look of picots, I think I like the crispness of the "granny stitch" one best. Thank you for another excellent tutorial!
Thanks for sharing, I love them. Have bought some cotton and hooks and may try these for my first attempt to crochet with thread. You are such an inspiration to me. Take care x 🙂
Hello Corinna, another beautiful pattern you've brought us. My oldest daughter is an avid reader & I'm sure she would appreciate these, so I must give it a try. I'm new to using thread but really want to learn. I think you called it bedspread cotton thread, is there different types for different projects? I feel like I need a crash course in thread crochet. I also really like your hooks with the covers, I'm sure that really helps keep them nice since they are so small. Were they hard to find, I've never seen any with covers like yours. Since I'll be diving into this world of thread crochet since you've got me "hooked" I'll have to get a set of the tiny hooks. I know I've said it before but your videos are such a joy to watch & not everyone can be a great teacher, but you are my friend. 🩷🤗 PS: I just found your video on your other channel about all the hooks you use. It was interesting to learn of the different hooks & it answered one of my questions about what you used. I think if I heard right the tiny ones with the covers are the Clover Steel with the soft touch handles. I'll check if those are on Amazon. 😊
They are so comfortable, you are using a tiny steel hook but the handle really makes them feel like a regular hook, The bedspread cotton is a #10 cotton, it’s one of if not thee most commonly used crochet thread size , I refer to it as bedspread cotton because some people are better acquainted with that phrasing of it 😊 And thank you so much for the very kind words , you have no idea just how encouraging it is to hear 🤗
When you're ending the row by putting two double crochets into the last stitch of the previous ending double crochet, are you putting it into the real double crochet stitch or into the top of the chain three (which also acts as a double crochet)? I can't figure it out
I'm glad that you doing this channel now. Even with yrs. under my belt I am learn "some new things". Thank you!
Awesome 🤗
I’m all about bookmarks and key chains right now. ❤nice 😊

Thank you , am a avid reader so these will come in handy . Also nice for gifts .
I just made #2 and I'm so pleased with how it came out. It's so cute! Thanks!
Just finished bookmark #2, having previously done #3 and #1. Hoping that #4 and #5 will soon appear...

Superb multumesc!🍀💝🌹
That is how stitching works. 😂❤
I wish I could crochet as easy as you make this looks! Im attempting #5 and I have totally destroyed it. I have no idea what im doing. Lol! Help!
Just wondering if you could use fingering weight yarn for these and maybe a B hook?
These are so pretty and simple. Do you have a pattern for a lady’s lacy hanky?
I do not at the moment

Will you show us another stitch besides the crazy one?
I will, I have been looking for new to us vintage stitches, but majority are still commonly used stitches , like a fan st , shell st and the basics
👍
My dress forms name is Matilda!
they're cousins LOL

into the top of the chain 3
Where can I buy this booklet?
Hey, are you gonna sell the pattern? Since i dont live in the us and i cant get the booklet for it. My mom would love to make it 😊
Random but what nail polish do you wear?😅
in this video, I'm wearing just 1 coat of Sally Hanson diamond strength in color Champagne Toast, and no top coat ( top coat dulls the frost )
