Just completed my first one! I find it helpful to try a new pattern on a larger scale so that I can more easily follow the tutorial/stitch placement. In this case I used an acrylic yarn (4) and a 5mm hook. So glad you explained about blocking! I looked at mine and thought, oh boy, I crocheted a little tight as usual! Now I know what to do!! Thank you!
These bookmarks are so much fun to make. You are very easy to follow and I'm enjoying them very much. I'm making them for our Holiday Bazaar in November! I'm stink early because I want to make in every color. 😉
Have been looking for a simple but pretty bookmark, and this is just perfect! Really good to see you do it in "real time" gives an excellent perspective. And again, a very well explained tutorial, always enjoy your videos. Thank you. 😊❤
Thank you so much Beverley! I don’t think I’ve done a ‘real time’ tutorial before - thought it would be something a little different. I’m really glad you like it 🌸
Love this not-so-difficult pretty bookmark! I’m an avid reader so I’ll be making a few of these!! 😊Thank you for sharing your wonderful tutorial with us! 💕🤗
What a pretty bookmark Rebekah it’s nice to have something small and practical to work on and will make lovely gifts thank you I will make one tonight 📖💕amanda xx

Yes absolutely! I’ve blocked small projects and whole blankets, very carefully, with my steamer. More often than not, I just do a little spray though with some water. 🌸🥰
I'm nearing the end of making a big throw, and it's driving me mad now, as it takes forever to do a row! 😂 I think I will try making these tomorrow, as quick and easy to make. Thanks 😊 xx
Hi Rabecca, very pretty ♥️ I need bookmark as mine one has gone a bit tatty,so looking forward of making a few....Thank you for sharing Rabecca you are Awesome 🤩
Awe these were so much fun to make! I really enjoyed the real time video of course I still had to pause. My old hands don’t work as fast anymore ❤❤🧶🧶 but thanks 🙏
Hi, do you know how much yarn that was used? I have some small balls I would like to use up and want to make sure I have enough. Love this bookmark and want to do it for a good friend.
Oh gosh, not much at all, I just weighed one and I’ve used 5g of yarn - not sure how much that would be in length. Obviously the weight will be different depending on the type of yarn you use, mine was a bamboo cotton 🌸
ho I can't get the ones since I'm a beginner I can't get anything uff I can't get the chain. and nothing. I don't understand why. I'll try. until I get it. thank you. I like your videos. when I will achieve it. I'll send you a photo how it turned out ❤❤❤
Loved that you did a real time stay until the completion of project tutorial.
