I purchased this same unit last year and absolutely love it... So I just bought the solar and second battery for it!
How is the extra battery working for it? I have read reviews that say it's not automatically switch over.
@@chrisk9351 correct, vtoman reconfirmed in email today that second battery is not used automatically. Primary battery will die, then they recommend connecting second battery and then re-enabling power.
If you happen to have second battery connected, unit will still shut off when primary battery dies... Then you have to re-enable power.
Primary battery is awesome .. but massive design flaw for second battery :(
UPS function also does not work, unless battery is charging. If power goes out and battery is not current in charging mode, unit shuts off. Another major design flaw, making the so called UPS feature completely useless.

Can you do a test with the Vtoman 1500 flashspeed working with the extra flashspeed battery. I find it is having problems switching from the extra battery to the main unit. Vtoman manual states a interrupted switch over. No , no switch over. Is this just me? I don't think so.
I don’t have the extra battery so I will not be able to do the test or have any experience with it
My 1500 arrived with reversed polarity and has a floating neutral. Many appliances will not work with reverse polarity and my furnace would not work with floating neutral. I was able to fix both problems but No technical support from VTOMAM... And buyer may have to pay shipping to return this unit.

Just don’t buy this. I had it for four months not used under 60 F not used hard just for USB units. And it went. I think it was the inverter inside of it. TO TOP IT OFF THEY DO NOT HONOUR THEIR WARRANTY. NOT EVEN AN ATTEMPT Y
TO CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY BAD!! AGAIN IF YOU BUY THIS I KNOW OF THREE ITHER PEOPLE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM AND THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THEM HONOURING THE WARRANTY.
