Much love to all of my beautiful brothers and sisters out there. Stay strong, stay focused and determined. You are not alone. Peace and light from Nottingham England 👊💜👊
We ordered wheat from our Amish store yesterday. The price went up from $25 to $35 for 25#. For lights we got a Jackery 290 and a 100w solar panel. Today we have full sun and we're getting 60w charge!! This is the first time of full sun in weeks here in SE Ohio!!! Our neighbor had a $10,000 solar system and had to run his gas gen all day last winter! They moved so I don't know how it went this winter. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for the video, wish i would have seen it sooner. I have a 1500 on the way and was about to order an extra battery. I'll be returning it and ordering Pecron.
Yes pecron works well together with its two extra batteries - however I have also been able to hook up 2 fast speed 1500s together to properly charge up and discharge together.
Well, you're doin the Lord's work, saving people a lot of money. What a dang headache that unit's got to be. I do like that companies are keeping trying to reinnovate the math on the dang weight of 3kwh of lifepo4.
I am working at sending my two extra batteries back. They don't seem to be very friendly with working with you. I'm sure they know of the problem I don't believe I'm the first telling them.
sounds like this vid needs to be sent to the company, could be you got a preproduction run of the battery and cord. an idea would be to build a rolling cart where you can put the power station and extra battery in it and secure them
Dave appreciate your honest opinion on this product. I would like your idea on the best backup battery system for my life support ventilator. I currently have 36 hours off back up batteries, but they are dry gel and there is no way my female nurses can lift them and carry to my bedside if I am not up in my wheelchair.
Those batteries were meant to be for the Vtoman Powerspeed pro 3000, it was on kickstarter don’t know how many people got them but there’s a lady the only one I’ve seen got one.
I have had my Flashspeed 1500 and extra battery with none of these problems. My complaint is I cannot seem to turn the charge indicator lights off on the extra battery. The unit does what these types of units do. Others do more. Question is what are you using it for. Thanks for the info, I will do some testing.
Thanks for reviewing. Could you tell me... just purchased extra battery. However, lights on extra battery stays on permanently when connected but display on extra battery stays on always...is this normal?
No they can't. They have a charge rate of 1650 W but the output is only 1500 W. So it will overload and turn off. You can charge it from a second flash speed using the 100 W 12 V car adapter.
Yes since the extra battery does not function properly I have been using two flash speed 1500s together with no problem , AC out of one into the main charging port of the other - they seem to charge up together and run down together without stopping like the extra battery is supposed to do. The differences in output and charging wattages doesn't seem to be a problem.
When I received the extra battery I plugged it in and like you said it didn’t auto switch over to the main battery I had to press the ac button to get it to start again, but this is a big but, when I recharged the whole system the next time I used it and the power ran out in the extra battery it actually switched over to the main battery with no cut out and has done the same ever since. I’m not sure if this is an initialisation thing but mine has been working seemingly ever since.😊
Also did you completely drain the extra battery then re charge both together as this is when mine started to work correctly and not disconnect power after just draining the extra battery.
Hi, I have mine located just outside my living room so I don’t really notice it but there is some noise, not terribly intrusive but be aware it does make a little noise when keeping the battery cool.
Thanks Dave, that Transition from External Pack to internal battery makes this a pass for me until they fix that. I agree with the balance of power utilization between both units should be balanced. Then the improper wire gage makes 3 strikes for me
Do you know what this unit is rated for (cold weather) ? On their website it states Opt for stations rated to at least 0°F/-18°C for cold climates but there is no information (that I found) that states what its rated for. Anything you can share is appreciated.
Ok, I had a similar problem - I ran the units linked together and the extra battery drained. Once drained, the main shut off. I disconnected the main and tried to run it by itself as it was full, but it would not turn on. Then I charged both and I tried running the main unit solo, without the extra battery attached, and it ran fine. Once it was at 2%, I connected the extra battery and the pair ran fine until the extra battery drained. This is totally contrary to what is in the manual, right? Or am I missing something? The 30 day period is way past, so no remediation with VTOMAN. Anyone experience this? Since I ran and recharged, should I try my first technique again and see if the reset-recharge works? Thanks, all and thanks for the video!
Yeah i wouldn't trust it unless was able to warch the entire time due to hot cord... Needs to be redone for safety hopefully your review will set that into motion

As he pointed out, the extra battery can only provide power through the main unit. The extra battery has no features beyond that. That being said, I have to disagree with his opinion that he'd like both units to run down together. Equally run down their number of recharges.Considering the main unit is the one that you run every off, I would rather the extra battery run down first. Extending the life of the main unit. To simplify. If both have 1000 recharges and I run down the extra battery 1000 times, but the main unit only 200 times, I only have to replace the extra battery. The extra unit still has a life of another 800 recharges. I'm buying the extra battery not only for an increased amount of energy time, but also to extend the life of my main unit. I have the older Jump 1000. Yes, the newer VTOMAN power stations have a couple of new features, but my J1K serves me well. I'm in no rush to shell out more money for a newer one. I'd like my J1K to last long enough 'til one of the future generation VTOMANs has improvements that make me want to upgrade.
@lcoop89 Did you have any luck with a refund? I am in the same boat, I'm within the 30 days but they keep emailing suggestions on how to make it work. Huge misrepresentation on their website and they haven't updated it yet.
@@chrisk9351 Didn't look for a refund after all - was still able to use the two units together to the extent possible and I did have an immediate need for them - plus they sent me a free "replacement" unit but it was the same d@m defective thing!! lol - just astounding they didn't even test these things together before marketing them - so I'm keeping the free unit "hostage" until they ever send me one that actually works correctly with the extra battery lol then I'll send back the two defective flash speed 1500s I have, the one I originally bought and the free "replacement" they sent me 😊

I gave them a negative review on Amazon, and they keep crying about the negative review. This is obviously the thorn in their side. If they think they can produce garbage and sell it, give them a negative review.
Thank you David.
So glad you aren't like celebrity spokesmen on TV. You tell the honest truth. No bs.
Good afternoon from Oklahoma!!
Good afternoon from Duncan!
Thank u 4 the unbiased review!
Appreciate the honesty ❤
A fair review. Thanks for the info.

And blessings on you as well, friend.
Thanks Dave!
Glad I watched your video on Perron and bought that brand. Very happy with the Perron.
Oops…auto complete misspelling…meant P E C R O N
You covered everything I wanted to know. Thanks for this review!
You had me on warm cord! NO WAy 😮
Excellent and honest review of the battery system, SouthernPrepper1.
Can't afford it. Glad someone can.
Appreciate the review sir.

My is performing same as 1200wh Aferiy despite being 1548Wh which is a bammer 👎
Thanks for your review 👍

Yes, you are right! The different design shows it quite clearly.
I'm glad you got this unit for free. If you had to pay for this would you be upset?

What if one gets two FlashSpeed 1500's, can they be connected together in a series?
No they can't. They have a charge rate of 1650 W but the output is only 1500 W. So it will overload and turn off. You can charge it from a second flash speed using the 100 W 12 V car adapter.

What is the fan noise like on the main unit

Hi. The flashspeed 1500 still works?😊

Can the 1500 jump extra battery be used with the flash speed unit?
No they’re not compatible.

What a crappy design flaw...😳🖕
Cords warming up is not a good sign, they should remain cool
they skimped on the gauge of wire, needs to be higher gauge, prob. saved $5 smh.
You didnt grunt 3 times after saying "More Power". Lol
VERY VERY UNHAPPY WITH NO AUTO SWITCHOVER ON MINE! - GIANT FALSE ADVERTISING! GUESS I'LL BE REQUESTING A REFUND! ☹️☹️
Try to request a refund in less than 30 days. I purchased two extra batteries, and I'm trying to return them tooo.
