Hey, sorry for the slow reply but I have been super busy the last few days. I love tent camping too. I just wish it wasn’t so much work to take up and put down by yourself. Ha ha ha I’m sure I’ll have more tent camping videos in the future, but for now I’m excited to get back in the camper tomorrow now that it’s repaired and go shoot another video! 😁

This was a fun video my friend. I laughed when you said 50 something was cold. But then I remembered where you are from haha. 50-60 degrees is the most absolute perfect sleeping temperature
68-72 is perfect sleeping weather hahaha We still are having hot days in the the 90's here, so 50 feels like winter time haha. I just haven't acclimated to the cooler weather yet haha, But 50 is still cold for me haha. Thanks for watching!

nice video and editing. the karate chop sounds idea i'm gonna steal from you. lol. the buddy heater can be finicky. I add a little battery powered 3" or 4" diameter clip-on fan to the handle and have it in the back facing forward. even on low or med it distributes the heat around instead of the heat just rising straight up. But come-on Man, low 50's and the need for a heater? LOL. just kidding bud, thanks for sharing and keep the camera rolling.
Hahaha that’s a great idea for the fan I’ll have to try that!! Honestly I figured someone was going to say something about the temp 😂 but I broke my rule and wasn’t prepared for the heater to not work haha. The sleeping bag i think was a 30 or 40 degree bag and I didn’t even have pants to sleep in so yeah I froze haha. Totally lost my man card that night 😆 I mean I obviously survived but I woulda much rather been in the rv with that broken heater lol
Fifteen minutes in... GOOD point! You do not need solar if your needs are fairly minimal, and you HAVE a VTOMAN like you do, and you CHARGE it... whenever ya can. That is ace on the money, dude. For some folks, why waste a pile of money on solar when the fastest way from Point A to point B is right there in front of you.
You got that right haha. Im not ready for cold freezing weather yet!! Luckily here in AZ I can usually find really nice weather up until late December. In fact I have a boat trip planned in November haha. Thanks so much for watching!!

Hey thanks!! Yeah I have smaller tents that pack up easier and take u less space but I really enjoy that tent because of all the room it has and because I can stand up haha. Great video. Whenever we camped, the campgrounds always had fireplaces or rings. Do you like the Vtoman? That would be good to have in Florida in case of hurricanes. Where you camp in the south desert, especially in a tent, you fear snakes, spiders, or scorpions? Those meals you add water to we will eat. I know lots of folks who won’t. This was a nice trip. Hello!! Yeah I honestly really like the Vtoman. The older units took all day to change so most people did like that so this newer one is perfect because it chargers so fast. They are a little pricy but considering they will hold a good charge and keep working like it should for more than 10 years then I feel like it's a good deal for someone who tent camps!! As for the snakes, spiders, and scorpions yeah I dont like any of those either but I feel like its a lot like Florida and their crocodiles and hurricanes haha, I wouldn't want to run into any of that stuff either but I assume they aren't as much of a threat as the news makes them out to be haha. I lived here 20 years and spend a lot of time outside. I have only seen a handful of snakes or scorpions......unfortunately spiders are everywheretho, but I think they just like the warmer weather haha, Thanks for watching!!

Wow Kevin thank you so much for that offer, I really appreciate that!! I’m planning to film fixing it tomorrow but I haven’t even looked under the siding yet 😬 I hope it’s not too rotted! When I purchased it I legit hunted down the cheapest one on “Marketplace” and bought it knowing that nothing worked on it al all. The plumbing leaked, the electrical didn’t work at all, the fridge and heater was broken, and the roof leaked up front pretty bad. I’m a general contractor so I enjoyed fixing everything and remodeling the inside but I always figured I wasn’t going to bother tearing into the front nose until it became an issue. So it’s finally an issue and I’m dreading it haha 😂. Basically I plan to tear off that siding under there and replace any rotted wood then cover that area with a sheet of aluminum diamond plate 🤷♂️ I figure that beats trying to salvage the siding that I damaged when I was bashing it with a hammer when it wouldn’t screw back up and it kept flopping down and scratching my truck haha 😂 Anyways yeah look me up when you pass through AZ!! The buddy heater ... You have to hold the pilot down for 20 seconds then turn it to low or high... And also if your propane tanks get too cold it won't burn good for whatever reason
We get puddles here ! An it’s still fun especially 4wheeling in um .. an there’s Missouri River lake contrary an smithville lake… ( kinda a mud an water bug)
When you turn the buddy heater on high some times the fuel tank will freeze up and the gas won't feed through the nozzle so it needs to sit a little bit and defrost then it will start
So, which is better nights sleep for you; cot or air mattress? Looks like Mason is feeling better and eating better too! Happy to see that. I'm interested in getting a power station for our camper too. I camp with my horse and it's always primitive camping and hauling the generator is more work than I like cause I have to feed, clean up after and water my horse too. (Plus ride )
Honestly I use to say the cot but last time I slept on an air mattress I was 50 lbs heavier so maybe that’s why I didn’t like it before? Because this time I was way more comfy on the air mattress except for the cold!! So I guess if I had to pick I would say the air mattress wins 😂
I have a Mr. Buddy and have notice that when it gets down to a certain temp mine won't start either. I have one of those tents you setup in the back of your truck.
I find it ironic that heaters seem to stop working when it’s cold 😂 but I heard the same thing, that’s weird! I found a video on how to clean it so I’ll try that I guess haha. Thanks for watching 🙏

Don’t buy one!! lol they suck!! The first one I bought broke the very first time I put a chargers in it. Then this one leaks and loses its prime so I constantly have to take it off the bottle and put it back on for some reason that allows the water to come up the hose. I don’t think all pumps like that are bad but I got that one from Walmart so I would recommend maybe finding a little better quality pump if you plan to use it a lot. Well I haven’t owned a hairdryer or a comb in over a decade but I would guess that it would be totally fine to bring along!! 😆 You should really try camping at least once!! You’d be surprised how much stuff you can find around the house to take camping so all you would need is maybe a tent unless you sleep in ur car! If you take the time to find a good spot then it’s life changing to be able to get away from the busyness of life and just breathe in that clean country air!! So I’m giving ya homework!! Go camping before it gets too cold and then let me know how it went 😂

I will try camping but it will have to be in the Spring as it’s been dipping into the 40’s at night here in Eastern PA. The Little Buddy heaters, make sure you use the filter they sell for them, especially if you use the bigger propane bottles. No filter ends up clogging up the little orifice on the heater that the propane runs through.

I have seen bears and most of the time they stay away but you just never know. A black bear recently attacked a guy about an hour away from that spot a few months ago. Thanks so much for watching!!

I live full time in my RVs, yes. I have two, one that stays parked in a spot which I call my home base and then I have the truck camper that I use while on the road. I just don’t venture out of Arizona much.
O ok. Gotcha. When you said home base, I thought you mean you had a sticks and bricks. So, you still have your 5th wheel that is in some of your videos

My brother had one of the other brands of power station, with the solar panels, when we went camping out in the NW in July. We brought a coffee maker, an electric burner and a toaster. Talk about glamping! We even managed to fully recharge with the panels one of the days (when it was sunny). I have a super-size version of the same thing with my camper electrical, but not quite as portable :) Another great camping video. Time to start transitioning to cold weather. I opted for the Camco heater because of all the issues I've heard of with the Mr. Buddy over the long run. As always, thanks for sharing.

I appreciate that! Thanks for that compliment! A lot if people haven't heard of pork steaks and im not sure why? They sell them at most stores and they are cheap like $3-$5 per steak and they are always juicy and taste delicious!! I actually prefer them over more expensive beef steaks haha.

Yeah it was a great night to camp!! If I woulda came prepared with like sleep pants then it woulda been perfect haha. But sleeping in shorts and a broken heater sorta sucked 😆

As for the salt….on Keto I get to eat everything I’m addicted to like beef, fat and salt!! Somehow over the years people have given salt a bad name and some sodium is bad like what’s in those MRE meals, canned food, ect but using Himalayan pink salt and lots of it is good for you!! Plus it helps ya retain water which we can all use since most people don’t drink enough including myself 😂

nice video and editing. the karate chop sounds idea i'm gonna steal from you. lol. the buddy heater can be finicky. I add a little battery powered 3" or 4" diameter clip-on fan to the handle and have it in the back facing forward. even on low or med it distributes the heat around instead of the heat just rising straight up. But come-on Man, low 50's and the need for a heater? LOL. just kidding bud, thanks for sharing and keep the camera rolling.
Hahaha that’s a great idea for the fan I’ll have to try that!! Honestly I figured someone was going to say something about the temp 😂 but I broke my rule and wasn’t prepared for the heater to not work haha. The sleeping bag i think was a 30 or 40 degree bag and I didn’t even have pants to sleep in so yeah I froze haha. Totally lost my man card that night 😆 I mean I obviously survived but I woulda much rather been in the rv with that broken heater lol
Fifteen minutes in... GOOD point! You do not need solar if your needs are fairly minimal, and you HAVE a VTOMAN like you do, and you CHARGE it... whenever ya can. That is ace on the money, dude. For some folks, why waste a pile of money on solar when the fastest way from Point A to point B is right there in front of you.

That’s how I camp all the time, your battery power is much better than mine though, lol. That area is beautiful! Your tent is awesome, I much prefer the tall tents to the little short ones. Definitely need to try that hot sauce.

Great video. Whenever we camped, the campgrounds always had fireplaces or rings. Do you like the Vtoman? That would be good to have in Florida in case of hurricanes. Where you camp in the south desert, especially in a tent, you fear snakes, spiders, or scorpions? Those meals you add water to we will eat. I know lots of folks who won’t. This was a nice trip. Hello!! Yeah I honestly really like the Vtoman. The older units took all day to change so most people did like that so this newer one is perfect because it chargers so fast. They are a little pricy but considering they will hold a good charge and keep working like it should for more than 10 years then I feel like it's a good deal for someone who tent camps!!
As for the snakes, spiders, and scorpions yeah I dont like any of those either but I feel like its a lot like Florida and their crocodiles and hurricanes haha, I wouldn't want to run into any of that stuff either but I assume they aren't as much of a threat as the news makes them out to be haha. I lived here 20 years and spend a lot of time outside. I have only seen a handful of snakes or scorpions......unfortunately spiders are everywheretho, but I think they just like the warmer weather haha,

Wow Kevin thank you so much for that offer, I really appreciate that!! I’m planning to film fixing it tomorrow but I haven’t even looked under the siding yet 😬 I hope it’s not too rotted! When I purchased it I legit hunted down the cheapest one on “Marketplace” and bought it knowing that nothing worked on it al all. The plumbing leaked, the electrical didn’t work at all, the fridge and heater was broken, and the roof leaked up front pretty bad. I’m a general contractor so I enjoyed fixing everything and remodeling the inside but I always figured I wasn’t going to bother tearing into the front nose until it became an issue. So it’s finally an issue and I’m dreading it haha 😂.
Basically I plan to tear off that siding under there and replace any rotted wood then cover that area with a sheet of aluminum diamond plate 🤷♂️ I figure that beats trying to salvage the siding that I damaged when I was bashing it with a hammer when it wouldn’t screw back up and it kept flopping down and scratching my truck haha 😂

The buddy heater ... You have to hold the pilot down for 20 seconds then turn it to low or high... And also if your propane tanks get too cold it won't burn good for whatever reason

When you turn the buddy heater on high some times the fuel tank will freeze up and the gas won't feed through the nozzle so it needs to sit a little bit and defrost then it will start

On my pork steak or any kink of pork I always use garlic powder my ham I don't put any seasoning cause the hams has its own flavor
So, which is better nights sleep for you; cot or air mattress? Looks like Mason is feeling better and eating better too! Happy to see that. I'm interested in getting a power station for our camper too. I camp with my horse and it's always primitive camping and hauling the generator is more work than I like cause I have to feed, clean up after and water my horse too. (Plus ride )
Honestly I use to say the cot but last time I slept on an air mattress I was 50 lbs heavier so maybe that’s why I didn’t like it before? Because this time I was way more comfy on the air mattress except for the cold!! So I guess if I had to pick I would say the air mattress wins 😂
I have a Mr. Buddy and have notice that when it gets down to a certain temp mine won't start either. I have one of those tents you setup in the back of your truck.
I find it ironic that heaters seem to stop working when it’s cold 😂 but I heard the same thing, that’s weird! I found a video on how to clean it so I’ll try that I guess haha. Thanks for watching 🙏

Don’t buy one!! lol they suck!! The first one I bought broke the very first time I put a chargers in it. Then this one leaks and loses its prime so I constantly have to take it off the bottle and put it back on for some reason that allows the water to come up the hose. I don’t think all pumps like that are bad but I got that one from Walmart so I would recommend maybe finding a little better quality pump if you plan to use it a lot.

Well I haven’t owned a hairdryer or a comb in over a decade but I would guess that it would be totally fine to bring along!! 😆 You should really try camping at least once!! You’d be surprised how much stuff you can find around the house to take camping so all you would need is maybe a tent unless you sleep in ur car! If you take the time to find a good spot then it’s life changing to be able to get away from the busyness of life and just breathe in that clean country air!! So I’m giving ya homework!! Go camping before it gets too cold and then let me know how it went 😂

I will try camping but it will have to be in the Spring as it’s been dipping into the 40’s at night here in Eastern PA. When I do go, I will probably do a video on it, as is will be a site to see lol. 🤗

Personal observation: Mr Buddy heaters a basically junk.
The Little Buddy heaters, make sure you use the filter they sell for them, especially if you use the bigger propane bottles. No filter ends up clogging up the little orifice on the heater that the propane runs through.
YOU CAN PUT SALT PEPPER IN ANOTHER STRAW AND SPICESYOU LIKE IN STRAWS...

I have seen bears and most of the time they stay away but you just never know. A black bear recently attacked a guy about an hour away from that spot a few months ago. Thanks so much for watching!!

I live full time in my RVs, yes. I have two, one that stays parked in a spot which I call my home base and then I have the truck camper that I use while on the road. I just don’t venture out of Arizona much.
O ok. Gotcha. When you said home base, I thought you mean you had a sticks and bricks. So, you still have your 5th wheel that is in some of your videos

My brother had one of the other brands of power station, with the solar panels, when we went camping out in the NW in July. We brought a coffee maker, an electric burner and a toaster. Talk about glamping! We even managed to fully recharge with the panels one of the days (when it was sunny). I have a super-size version of the same thing with my camper electrical, but not quite as portable :) Another great camping video. Time to start transitioning to cold weather. I opted for the Camco heater because of all the issues I've heard of with the Mr. Buddy over the long run. As always, thanks for sharing.
Hey, sorry about the slow reply I have just been really super busy over the last few days! That definitely does sound like Glamping and those power stations. Definitely make it easier! I’ll have to look into the Camco heater because I cannot stand my diesel heater anymore haha. I’m also not ready for winter ha ha ha!

I appreciate that! Thanks for that compliment! A lot if people haven't heard of pork steaks and im not sure why? They sell them at most stores and they are cheap like $3-$5 per steak and they are always juicy and taste delicious!! I actually prefer them over more expensive beef steaks haha.
