    Hey guys, great informative and entertaining video, you've gained a new sub! Coming from owning a Q30 for a couple years that is now breaking, I am concerned about the top padding of the Q45s. While it is worse, would you guys still say it is comfortable enough to be worn for long periods? I've also heard elsewhere that it has a greater clamping force which might be a dealbreaker for my fairly large head

    Thanks for the detailed and trusted review! Future vide idea - most durable headphones for people who keep breaking them. Other features I care about:
    - call mix quality
    - how long it takes to connect or switch between devices.
    - comfort - around the year
    - noise cancellation and audio quality
    5:05 - maybe the wind noise reduction is for the microphone.
    I commute to work using a bicycle and would love that feature. My old Q35s were great on transparency mode so I can hear the traffic but the person I am calling doesn’t need to.

    I bought the q45 months ago and your channel really helped me a lot in picking it! As a uni student, i think this pair is really worth the price it comes, it's actually affordable and always on sale compared to other brands. Battery performance is insane, i always use it with the anc on and so far i only need to charge it once in 2 weeks. I always do public transport and study on crowded areas, transparency is great as long as they're sealed properly. Sound quality is a bit lacking out the box but a little tweaking on the app makes it top tier. Thank youuu!!

      @@Messup7654 hello! from my experience the q45 is good at blocking voices even though the person is right beside you as long as u have a good seal (make sure the ear cuffs are aligned to your ears or earrings not peaking out and lumps of hair wont disturb the seal) but its not rlly perfect for machinery sounds (i live in asia we have jeepneys and theyre so loud) but it still works good for the price you bought it. also i think the q45 will perform better than the airpods pro (ive only used ap gen 2) since it has a natural cover for your years than rlly matters for blocking sounds

    I own both the Q30 and Q45 (you guys helped me with my decision with your older videos), both bought at the same time (I needed some decent ANC headphones to study at the library and to block my noisy upstair neighbours). Q45s feel better built and passive noise cancellation is better (blocks noise even without having them turned on) which you can't say about the Q30. With ANC on the Q30s, plus some music I can barely hear the jumps and running from the feral kids of my upstair neighbours, so I can say they've saved my life and wellbeing for a very reasonable price. Q45s costed twice as much, despite of that I think they are worth it. Contrary to some users I find them really comfortable (I have a large head) and for the money, the sound quality, the features and the specially its battery life make them a solid buy. But I must say that the Q30s fulfill all my needs for half the price, and the case is nicer (vinyl leather of the Q45s will peel off in a couple years time, no doubt). Kind regards and keep up the amazing work, love your content!

      Did you mean the ear padding ?

    • @ElChus
      @ElChus ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@xxsilver_gamingxx389 well, the ear padding is fake leather on both and will degrade in a couple of years no matter what (it happened with my Soundcore Life Q10, which I had to replace with new ear pads). But I was referring to the case. In the Q30 the case is lined of some sort of fabric that will last almost forever, on the Q45 however the case is lined with very soft vinyl that I don't think it will last very long. I prefer the case on the cheaper model without a doubt.

    I absolutely love the q45's even over my xm5's but for me wothe the q45 when i turn my head to slightly to the and right the sound low end frequency shifts and wobble. With multiple q45's walking, exercising, head movements all trigger that weird effect. I had almost all soundcore over ear headphones. And i love soundcore products. I have the spaceone's now but the q45 feel so much premium. Maybe the q45 ear cup for me is absolutely air tight. May i could cut a whole and place a small air vent to correct the vacuum. When i place the ear cups slightly off centered, that effect goes away.

    I'm confused by the critique of the lack of a single button to switch between modes on the Q35s. I DO have such a button on the left ear cup -- it cycles through all 3 modes. And then ALSO, you can tap the right ear cup to switch between transosrenvy mode and either normal or ANC mode (depnding on which you had selected last with the single button

    • @DHRME
      @DHRME  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Shiraz - thanks for the feedback. We might have described it indirectly. But you're absolutely right - you can use the NC button to toggle through all the ANC modes. We just found it confusing that you had touch for ambient & normal. And then also an NC button. On the Life Q35 you can disable the touch sensor ;) which we ended up doing.

      Q45 the best because of slightly better clamp and improved ANC. They all are quite good. With Q30 it blocks about 70% of machine noise and about 50% of voices. Actually at a coffee shop currently. They the 30 knocked out the small bar dishwasher they use and the loud talkers nearby.

    I just got the q45 today but i guess with a smaller female head it's not really servicable. The gigantic ear cups fail to fully isolate my ears, making it impossible for me to enjoy the full potential of the brilliant sound i could get (if i squish the ear cups to my skull).

      I have a medium-sized head and tried both the q35 and q30. Their cups are definitely smaller than the q45.
      I found the q35 to be a little tighter and less prone to falling as well as providing a little better passive noise isolation, but they get warmer and uncomfortable to wear quicker than the q30 pads.
      To solve this I've ordered a third party replacement that works both for q35 and q30 (they have the same plastic structure pads attach to): the "soulwit cooling gel" earpads that promise to be cooler and hopefully more comfortable as well. They arrive in 2 days so if you want leave a comment then and I'll reply how it went
