The Starfy series however was one of the very few games that TOSE was acknowledged as being developed by them and that’s because the series was not commissioned by other publishers but made by TOSE themselves, Nintendo mearly publishes in behalf for them
You forgot to talk about the post-game content in the Legendary Starfy. Sure World 9 exists to offer more substance by allowing you to play as Starfy's sister; Starly, but World 10 is where the game completely amps up the difficulty curve. Plus there's a secret boss that has some of the most ridiculous attacks, including a one-hit KO homing attack that he spams during the battle.
I've still never beaten the secret boss (Not gonna spoil it for anyone interested). Gotten him down to one health every time, and then he goes Super Saiyan on me.
To be honest the World 10 stages aren't too bad. It's the fact you need to play them almost perfectly to get under the time limit which makes them absurd.
You forgot to mention the true final boss and how he has: A. The only attacks that deal more than 1 damage and B. The only attack to kill you in one hit that can't be avoided by mashing out of it
Bro, I couldn't even beat the final boss because of my worst enemy as a child, button mashing! Seriously! I had to ask my mother to do a surtant button mashing part in Sonic Rush!
I know, right? As a kid the only way I was able to beat the final boss was by pausing during the button-mashing part multiple times so that my thumb could take a break and wouldn't get tired from it...
For me, this game reaches a level of charm that can only be achieved (for me at least) by the Mystery Dungeon games. It's just one of the best of games of the DS, nothing less or more. *ALSO THIS IS JUST SO FREAKING ADORABLE =3*

Stary is one of my favorite games of all time. It was the first video game I ever really played. I remember getting it with my DS for Christmas when I was 7. I remember watching the opening cutscene and thinking that was the end of the game, little did I know I was just diving into the game
No kidding! I got Klonoa in a box of games I bought from a kid at school and instantly fell in love with it. Definitely another classy, whimsical series by a very creative team.
(Along with Lunetea's Veil, please. Relentlessly easy except for all the collectables (So, kind of like Kirby), but absolutely wonderful throughout that. Also... Stepping Wind. One of the best songs in gaming.)

As a little kid I always confused Kirby and starfy lol.
I have very vague memories of playing this game as a kid on the DSI and absolutely loving it. Glad to know it wasn’t a fever dream.
