- The Vauxhall Corsa has something of a reputation here in the UK, particularly when it comes to any kind of performance related variant - That being the stereotypical 'boy racer' image in the traditionally negative sense.
But with the VXR, and here in VXR Nurburgring edition form even more so, there's a strong indication that Vauxhall has finally endowed the Corsa with enough unarguable performance and ability that it can finally be taken seriously by more than just 17 year olds named 'Kev'...so let's review the Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring edition!

I love mine and I'm 48 and couldn't care less about anyone judging me for driving it but you want the engine forging especially if you're going for good power 250bhp plus

Make sure you get those standard injectors changed before you do anything my man. I run 395cc injectors mapped in to a close to standard tune for reliabilty the standard ones casue issues at wide open throttle in the long run (not enough fuel to cylinder 4 runs lean and therefore overheats not all that common, but covers your bases however I'm not entirley sure if the nurburgring has the same injectors as the regular vxr? correct me if im wrong the 295cc ones)
Bought a grasshopper Green one totally standard and never had any problems its a hoot 😂

Iv just bought one in white getting it soon I part exchanged my Toyota gt86 for it and I'm in my 50s !( Bit different to the Toyota ) Love the 86 but just wanted something a bit more practical and cheaper on payments but still fun and qwick , had a standard vxr years ago and was impressed with it and IV had over 40 cars , lotus , 3 Evo's Subaru sti , focus st , fiesta st .

If they are modded no one wants to touch them cause they are so unreliable.

Yo there’s nothing wrong with Vauxhall at all I drive a Vauxhall mareva design 1.6 automatic and manual
