Its been a long time coming guys but I've finally got my latest video out for you all. Let me know down below what you'd like to see next on the channel! Can anyone guess where I am at the end of the video yet?🏎
Thanks Darron! Been a while coming but pleased to get this one out now! Wait for the updates! Lots to cover and lots of adventures this year! Can’t wait for you to come out here too!
Hey man! Yes for sure!!! I can’t wait to see you both! Thank you so much for your help on this one!! Will have some fun this summer. Let’s plan a road trip together!
The stem seals that we used were the ones that came in the rebuild kit straight from Nevlock Performance. If I had bought everything individually then I probably would have done so! Thanks for watching man! 🏎️
I looked like it's the first rebuild you have done becauewhen you were torquing the head bolts they didn't look like 90° turns, don't be surprised you end up with head gasket issues
Hey, thanks for watching! Yes it was the first build. I’m sure we mentioned that? And we did use the correct tightening procedure with torque and then degree tightening, apologies I didn’t do a great job of explaining or showing that in the video. Really appreciate the feedback though 👌🏻🏎️🏎️
Whats the bores oval and taper. Whats your wall clearance Whats your trust clearance Whats your mains and rod bearing clearances. What about valve shimming.. So much not done or checked.. all these details are ignored, which makes the difference in power and reliability and life span.

Great work, could you possibly tell me the reg of the car the engine went into? I’m away to buy that engine but he didn’t have any paper work with it
Good efforts bud.
Thanks man!
Well pleased it’s not still in thousands of pieces!
Awesome job lads! I'm still curious what the issue was exactly with the very first startup, always eager to learn -) cheers !
Maybe a earth 🤔
Bang on!
Turns out it was a bad earth on the started! But the issue was from under the fuse box not the usual spot 🤯🤯
Fair play to you man. Ambitious little project but all came good. (I'd say you were fairlu relevied !)
Thanks man, relieved is certainly how I felt when I heard it crank!
I’d love to do another one again!
Great video, but the final test is whether it lasts under boost and for any length of time!
Very true words… I guess only time will tell!
Thanks for watching! 🏎️🏎️
@@adambutler48 It looks like you did a decent job and were mindful of the main things which can screw things up.
Fingers crossed.
Hi mate any links for parts used thanks
Why would you not get the upgraded stem seals that have a built on washer to keep them seated
The stem seals that we used were the ones that came in the rebuild kit straight from Nevlock Performance. If I had bought everything individually then I probably would have done so!
Thanks for watching man! 🏎️
@adambutler48 I checked nevlock a while back and they sell them s standard on there full rebuild kit. What pistons did you use?
@@shujabeg7625 we used the Wossner 79.5mm pistons with Nevlocks own branded Conrods 👍🏼
@@adambutler48 👍
