@RepentorPerish77 PDP Pro Compact is on the list with the Shadow 2 Compact. Glad to hear I made a good choice in the Carry Comp. I posted new video so check it out. Thanks for watching and commenting.
you may have to drift the sight to the right just a little. sight regulation on Smiths have been off . The high sights will co-witness well in my experience.
I have the 2.0 carry comp polymer version, atm it's my EDC, I love how it feels in hand. It carries well, it shoots flat, its beautiful, and it feels great in hand. So far 100 rounds through no issue, going to push it next range day with 124 grain. I also had an issue with gen 1 i had a shield and i didn't care for it, butl this is such an improvement
@Ryankam91 Beautiful to hear. I ended up buying the same version. I posted some video and more to come. Think I am about 200 rounds in and it is a pleasure thus far.
The simplicity of Glocks, the ease of which you can detail strip and ability to work on them with little effort is what makes Glocks so special imho. Smith & Wesson M&Ps are decently simple in the grand scheme of pistols. It'a definitely no VP9 or Sig FCU hard but there are some design flaws like having to line up that stupid trigger return spring, slide stop and trigger shoe in one go with little space to work keeps me from really investing heavily into the M&Ps. Bought both a Metal frame and Metal frame Carry Comp along with 12 extra mags, a Safariland 6360, a couple of X300Ts, a couple of RMR 06s, and some extra parts to really give the platform an honest look. Glock is still king when it comes to ease of use, ease of maintenance, parts availability, magazine availability and price, parts selection and overall options available with little difference between models.
@ I don’t disagree about the Glock simplicity, but that isn’t what makes it king. What makes it king is cost effective reliability. The M&P provides than in a platform that appeals to more today. You don’t have to do anything more to fieldstrip the M&P than a Glock. Having the ability to break the pistol down without having to pull the trigger is an added option, but not necessary. The P320 is junk. The design is very flawed and cannot be fixed, but I am a huge fan of the VP9. It’s extremely robust, and reliable, but it also costs a bit more than the Glock and M&P. That said, with what S&W offers in the most recent M2.0 models, you get all you want and more in a cost effective, reliable pistol with the industry best trigger to date. 🤷🏻♂️
I must admit, I am not a S&W fan based on past issues with first-generation M&P, but they are winning me back.
I love my Carry Comp…so much I bought the Shield Carry Comp for edc…I also own the PDP Pro compact and it’s also amazing

Do you guys have any opinions so far on the extra slide length at 4.25” as far as everyday carrying goes? Do you notice it over the 4” compact?
If S&W produced this pistol 25 years ago, they would own the market today, not Glock. I said what I said.
