I love this pistol..thing is a beast. Looking for upgrades at the moment but i have roughly 2k rounds thru mine and she eats about everything i put thru it. I hand load as well. Great pistol.

Update on mine. 300 rounds, through it so far i love it. I've had one failure today, i tried 124 grain to push the comp and see how it handles it (very well). However, i may have been either poor grip or firing, too hard and fast with higher grain, and it had one failure to extract. I had to drop the mag and pull back the slide, and the casing dropped out (it may be also because i haven't cleaned it yet) the other worry was the last mag dump i had cause it was the end of the range time i had failure to slide lock after the mag was empty. Other than that its been doing great

you may have to drift the sight to the right just a little. sight regulation on Smiths have been off . The high sights will co-witness well in my experience.

I also apparently pull or shoot left. lol, mine, look about the same as yours. Shoots flat, i have a light on the way im excited to see if it counters anything

I have the 2.0 carry comp polymer version, atm it's my EDC, I love how it feels in hand. It carries well, it shoots flat, its beautiful, and it feels great in hand. So far 100 rounds through no issue, going to push it next range day with 124 grain. I also had an issue with gen 1 i had a shield and i didn't care for it, butl this is such an improvement

Carry Comp by far the better shooter. I own a Metal Carry Comp and my father in law has a p320, it’s a good pistol but not touching a Carry Comp.

I carry a Walther PDP compact and i just bought a CZ Shadow 2 compact.. After shooting these 2 guns, you'll be a little disappointed in the M&P metal carry comp.. Pro tip: don't look at the dot, look at the target and bring the dot into your line of sight

I love my Carry Comp…so much I bought the Shield Carry Comp for edc…I also own the PDP Pro compact and it’s also amazing

Visually, Canik's muzzle rise is considerably more than the Hellcat. Felt recoil may be less, but the Canik looks like there's far more recoil.

I must admit, I am not a S&W fan based on past issues with first-generation M&P, but they are winning me back.

Quick comment here, had a slight issue with mine. They paid shipping both ways and it was back in my hands less than 2 weeks. Granted I had a malfunction, but the pistol is now like glass. I’d say oil smooth before, now? Wet glass. LFA is no joke.

Is there small grooved pattern on the top front of your bull barrel? My pistol works fine but I’m just curious about the grooved pattern on the barrel. Isn’t it supposed to be smooth?

They load smooth because the mag spring is weak

Question: how has the TP9 been as far as reliability? That's my #1 concern. I have a shield plus PC but wanted something a tiny bit bigger for when I'm wearing bigger clothing.

Was the very first clip your first shot on that range trip? your wrist snapped a little more than I thought it would that first round, but if it was your first shot that range trip then I understand, no hate just wondering very nice pistols cool set up’s💯💯

Thank you for the review man! Unfortunately I had the same issues with the Prodigy and I got rid of it. I can’t trust those inexpensive double stack firearms. Reliable 2011 are running for $2,000 and more but I guess that’s what you get for a piece of mind. All firearms out of the box should run flawlessly without any break in periods

I’ll stick with my Staccato’s and my Atlas’s.
