Bought the 32GS27Q, hope its as good as this
Congratulations, I hope it meets your expectations my friend. Peace ✌️😊
Could you please do an elaborate review of this monitor. I'm planning to buy this one, it would be helpful.
First of all, I apologize for the delayed response. Let me put it this way, I've been using the monitor for 3 months now. I can say that I'm quite satisfied with it for gaming, editing, and watching movies. It fulfills my needs very well, and I have no complaints at the moment. 😊✌️
@@ProgressSaved87 Thanks for the update.
Why are some of the settings locked also i cant use 1440p on ps5 only 4k and 1080p
For PS5 this monitor is good
I have an Xbox game console. Since the monitor is 2K, you can automatically get 4K 60 fps resolution on the Xbox, but considering the performance of the game console, I wasn't very impressed. For PC, 2K 165Hz is ideal. For the PS5, you might want to look for a 4K monitor or TV.
What's your best settings to use for consoles? Freesyn on or off? Etc
I own an Xbox Series X console. Whether to turn on FreeSync depends entirely on the game you're playing. If I'm playing a high-action, high-graphic game, I turn on FreeSync for smoother performance. Otherwise, I usually keep FreeSync off in most games.😊✌️
for specifications Is this monitor better or the Lenovo R27Q-30?
In terms of technical specifications, the Lenovo monitor you mentioned is better than the LG monitor I'm using. However, I haven't used Lenovo until today. So, I can't say anything as a personal experience. 😊✌️
Hi im looking at buying this monitor however i heard someone said their screen was flickering did you experience any flickering issues with this monitor? Thanks
I haven't experienced screen tearing in games so far. I play games at 2k resolution with a 3060 Ti graphics card. However, when using the search engine in Windows 11, I encounter screen tearing on some websites, which is entirely due to my graphics card sometimes struggling to keep up with the 2k 165Hz resolution. My processor is a 7700X, and I have DDR5 6000Hz RAM, with an Asus Rog Strix B650E-e motherboard. Therefore, the 3060 Ti may be a bit underpowered. I'll soon upgrade to a 4070 Ti Super. Let's see if I still experience occasional screen tearing while browsing the internet in Windows 11. I'll keep you informed. 😊✌️
It can flicker but only if Free-Sync Premium is ON and your framerate fluctuates a lot. With the setting disabled or a stable framerate while using it, your monitor won't flicker.
Hola como estas? Queria preguntarte algo sobre este monitor, que tal tu experiencia con el tema de sus fugaz de luz y algo llamado IPS Glow?, He leido que los monitores IPS tienen ese problema y no se si este monitor tenga eso.
Buen video.
SI, si tiene IPS Glow, es normal.
@@alexropero5955 vale, muchas gracias por la aclaracion 😁
G27Q or GR75Q-B tell me please
G27Q: Refresh rate 144 Hz, built-in speakers, 350 nit brightness, 120% sRGB color gamut, 65W power consumption.
GR75Q-B: Refresh rate 165 Hz, no built-in speakers, 300 nit brightness, 99% sRGB color gamut, 45W power consumption. The monitors are fairly similar in terms of features, and the Gigabyte G27Q is indeed a good monitor. The choice is yours. ✌️🙂
Where is the power cord plugged in? Can you use q monitor arm with it?
The HDMI, DP, and power inputs are located at the back of the monitor. And yes, a monitor arm can be attached to this monitor. 👍
@@ProgressSaved87 ah, makes sense, i was looking for a more bulkoer power cord and didnt realize the lower input was actually power. Thank you, i read one 2 different places vesa mounts wouldn't work because evsa holes are recessed
Don't worry, this monitor is compatible with VESA standards (100x100 mm) for both wall mounting and monitor arm. It's also stated in the user manual of the monitor. You're welcome. ✌️😊
How to turn on this monitor ? I mean is there a power button on the monitor or something else?
Coz i saw a review of lg 27 oled monitor and it turns on with the remote only ,which i dont like
The monitor I'm using has a power button located underneath. It's an IPS screen monitor, not OLED. It doesn't come with a remote control. 😊✌️
@@ProgressSaved87 ok thanks for reply
Is this better than Samsung odyssey g5 27 2k?
As far as I know, the monitor you mentioned is a VA panel and has a curved design. The LG monitor is flat and has an IPS panel. I always prefer IPS panels. However, each monitor has its own advantages and disadvantages. The decision is yours.😊✌️
Presenta ghosting e un altra domanda perche hdr su impostazioni è su No???
The ghosting on the monitor is at a level that won't bother the eyes. I can't say it's completely absent, but it doesn't bother me. You can also enable HDR through the Windows display settings. It offers very pleasant and vibrant colors. I hadn't turned it on while recording this first video, sorry. Additionally, the monitor's game mode settings include an HDR effect.👍 Is the language you speak Italian? 😊
Hi, I'm looking for a Coding + Gaming monitor. For gaming, It is a good one but what about coding?
I have no knowledge about coding. But I should say that a 2k 165hz monitor will be sufficient for a standard computer user to play games, do editing, and coding. ☺️✌️
how is the contrast? and the actual brightness?
Brightness (Min.) [cd/m2] 240,
Brightness (Typ.) [cd/m2] 300 ---
Contrast Ratio (Min.) 700:1,
Contrast Ratio (Typ.) 1000:1
It has ratios that would achieve a vivid and clear image. 👍
@@ProgressSaved87 Thank you
this comes with speaker???
The monitor does not have built-in speakers. 😔
Support 2.1 ?
Unfortunately no. There are 2 HDMI 2.0 ports and 1 DisplayPort 1.4 port available. But a 2.1 HDMI cable operates at the speed of 2.0.
does it have 8bit or 10bit color depth? ive seen sum vids and got paranoid about the color depth
The monitor currently delivers 8-bit color, but you can adjust it to 10-bit through the Nvidia control panel.
@@ProgressSaved87 Can it really change to 10 bit as it comes with 8 bit colour depth only?
@@dkgamer45 Actually, in the user manual of the monitor, it says that the product supports HDMI 8 bit / 10 bit / 12 bit and DP (DisplayPort) 10 bit for the Color Depth of the LCD screen. I have an Nvidia graphics card, and I can adjust the output color depth by going to the resolution change section in the Nvidia control panel. If you have an AMD graphics card, you can still make the necessary changes by going to the relevant section in the Adrenalin software. 😊✌
@@ProgressSaved87 i have an RTX 4060
You can use 165 Hz 10-bit with the DP input. 🙂✌️
What about the glow effect?
I can say that there is no IPS glow compared to the other monitors I've used. It provides a very stable image. Based on my experiences so far, I highly recommend it. 👍
how is it??
An ideal monitor for 2k gaming. HDR10 supported IPS panel, the response time 1ms and the refresh rate 165hz is quite sufficient. Frankly, it met my expectations. ✌️
@@ProgressSaved87 I'm ordering it tomorrow, is 8bit noticeable? Also is the gaming experience good? Any ghosting, ips glow etc? Also are you using g-sync or amd free sync?
It has 10 bit color depth and gives a very vivid and clear image, also 8bit works. The gaming experience is quite good, there are two adaptive synchronization modes: basic and extended. Extended is ideal for very active FPS games, while Basic is for games with a story where you don't need to be very fast. I tried gysnc on and did not encounter any problems. Freesync also works by the way. There is some ghosting UFOTest but it is not noticeable in games. There is no ips glow either. I am very satisfied, I hope you are as satisfied as I am. It's a bit of luck though.
@@ProgressSaved87luck?
I'm talking about issues that arise from manufacturing defects or possible impacts during transportation, such as dead pixel formation, capacitor bulging, and screen flickering.
