I think the fact that he "didn't have a goal" about his videos like thinking of ways to get subscribers, getting thumbs ups or making money from it, it just shows how authentic, genuine his reactions were and how much he is enjoying life.
I really love the way mark loves his family. It's tough to always bring your family with you in tours. Specially with a baby. But he never eats anything without his family. Every women in the world may want a husband like him. He also deals well with people everywhere. Even the people making foods in the streets or vendors. Such a warm hearted man! ❤️❤️❤️

Seriously, Mark Weins is like the most beautiful person ever. He just seems like such an awesome, genuine, and the nicest guy ever. I love his channel but love watching his channel even more bc of him. Such a great guy seriously. Mark doesn't need to be on these big channels or shows either they need him to be on their shows. I will just continue watching him on youtube until he has his own show on travel channel like anthony bourdain. He definitely needs one! 😁
I hope he never gets caught up in TV. I hope he will just stay doing what he is doing; I think he will because he is not looking for fame and fortune, just to make a living doing what he loves. And remember, Anthony Bourdain was married and divorced twice, was a recovering drug addict, always looked unhappy, and killed himself. Not something to aspire to.
@@cherylchristian5673 I totally agree with you. Mark is no narcissist. I've been starting to get a sense of who is sincere on the internet and who isn't. There are so many aspiring TH-camrs who will hide their greedy motivations by giving money away and flexing charity, creating stupid reaction videos, flexing skills, creating clickbait videos with no substance, prank or bother other people, or show off their status symbols. If Mark was faking it, I think I'd notice it in his body language or some of the things he would say.
I like his stuff. He seems like one of the few TH-camrs I'd want to meet, because he seems honest and trustworthy. I don't think he would fit in with some of those Hollywood/TH-cam-celebrity phonies. He's above all that. Keep it up, Mark! You're awesome!

Mark was raised properly. He is on a "Mission" to help people any way he can. He's doing it through a medium that everyone can understand, food, we all got to eat. He builds people up without being patronizing and he is grateful to people who do the same.
People like Mark because he's genuinely positive and you can tell he's not faking it, he's made a conscious choice to be positive instead of just talking about it from an egocentric point of view.
Ok i started watching mike chen, and i thought mike was good. But mike does alot of buffet videos only. 3 years ago when i saw mark wiens videos. It definitely took me to a whole new level of watching foods. Mark loves to travel and eat. Hes not picky and willing to try all kinds of foods. He travel to different countries. Which i like, and the expressions on his face. It made me just glue to his videos. He is an amazing human beings.
I’ve been watching Mark’s videos for almost 5 years now, when he had under 2 million subscribers. The people who thinks that he fakes yummy face, most of them watching him for last 2 years.
From my personal point of view Mark is a genuine food lover. You have to understand the concept that he is not a good reviewer or criticiser who gives ratings to every food. Rather he is a full time eater, who loves to eat & takes every opportunity to eat & explore the culture around the world. If you love something genuinely you barely find anything bad in it. Believe me!
You are right. I have only been a subscriber for a year, but he seems very genuine in his opinions, but you can tell what he really likes and what he just thinks "meh." He loves what he does and in this video he said he's not a picky eater (he loves innards) so he's not going to say "yuck" about something.

Mark and Ying doesn't seem to age. Only the haircuts have changed hihi. All jokes aside. I have so much respect for both you, Sonny, and Mark (and Ying of course)
I think mark aged but hes at a point where his face could stop aging for 30 years. If he got any of his old haircuts he would look younger but he just looks like a dad now (which he is)

Not less spoiled, more cultured is the right word. Picky eaters are usually those who haven’t had the opportunity to see the world in their childhood hence they never acquire tastes other than their immediate surrounding. Product of their upbringing to be honest.

This is inspiring! I have been focusing on making videos for a year now with nothing but my iPhones, a tripod, and a gimbal. Sometimes it is a little defeating when the content you planned and spent time filming and editing don't get the views you had in mind. To hear that Mark actually took 2 years alongside other projects to build something before having a bit of momentum is surely an eye-opener. Honestly, thank you Mark, Sonny and team for sharing this video - just what I needed. Off to brainstorm my video content! :)

I just wanted to say to you both. I have been watching your shows for years. My love for food has always been a passion of mine. I don't only love the taste of different types of food but the story and culture that comes along with them. The hard work people put into their passion is very inspiring. For years I have always pondered the idea of making videos myself. It is definitely a huge commitment, one that I am having a hard time making especially now and days when the economy where I live it is hard to Find a decent job. I have a good job now and don't want to sacrifice my family's welfare chasing my dreams. Im just glad I get to see both of your videos so that I can also learn and see what is out there. So thank you for that.

I only just discovered Mark a couple months ago and I am completely addicted to his videos. It is often what I watch instead of regular TV and what I use to "come down" at the end of the day. So many incredible foods and inspirations but what rises above all that is that Mark seems to be the person we should all be striving to be in his acceptance and joy of life and of food and people. I would rather spend 5 minutes talking food with Mark than an hour with most movie stars. Meeting Mark Weins is on my bucket list. Maybe one day Mark!

I think it's because he's thin and lacks that facial fat to hide the protruding veins on his face and deep lines. I don't know where he hides his fats or his he disposes them.

Mark Weins is one of my favorite food vloggers because this guy is sooo nice to his hosts. While his 'yummy face' look may not look sincere to some but I understand why Mark is doing it on almost every food he tried wherever he is. He has high respect to every people and culture so he can't simply show a face of 'dislike' even if the food is not really good. That makes Mark a very likable person.

Over time it’s morphed into this weird thing with overenunciated consonants, exaggerated vowels, and in English-speaking countries, odd mimicry of other people’s accents. It just seems bizarre to me.
Mark is a genuinely good guy. Positive attitude and adapts to any place he goes to. I enjoy watching his channel
