BANGKOK, THAILAND - In this video I’ll share with you everything that I eat in one full day at home in Bangkok, Thailand. This is the life of a food vloggger when I’m at home - and not traveling. When I’m traveling it’s a totally different lifestyle - being out and running around the entire day from morning to night. But at home, this is a typical day for me, during this time.
Breakfast - I usually almost always eat a bowl of oatmeal, topped with all sorts of different nuts and fruits.
Lunch - When at home in Bangkok, Thailand, I’m fortunate to have my mother in law who is an outstanding Thai cook. Today she made gaeng some (recipe here: • Southern Thai Gaeng So... ) and nam prik kap (shrimp paste chili dip, recipe here: • Thai Nam Prik Kapi Rec... ). I’ve also been eating a lot of vegetables and fruits.
Dinner - For dinner I had some leftover gaeng som curry, and my wife made a simple, yet outstanding shrimp salad using herbs from our garden.
That concludes everything I ate in one day at home in Bangkok, Thailand as a food vlogger.

I remember what Uncle Roger once said, "Every Asian household has got 2 kitchens ... An indoor kitchen and an outdoor kitchen." And Mark Weins proved it.
In the Caribbean also, two kitchens.
With the amount of shrimp paste his mother in law was using, I dont think an indoor kitchen only house can survive that. I have an indoor kitchen and I would do my best to avoid shrimp paste (it will take 2 days for the smell to disappear with lots of candles, incents, and oil burners)
My second kitchen is the barbecue grill with a burner on the side and that’s where I cook all seafoods.

Mark is amazingly versatile. At home he is super healthy with his choices of foods. But he is out travelling and eating...he eat all sorts of foods. Kudos to him.

@@doriswaddington2418 you are completely wrong and selfish. When Mark's wife (Ying) pregnant. Mark will need some help from someone to taking care his wife and house chores because his jobs need to travel a lot and need lot of times to edit the video.
That's a lot of work for Mark and perfect job for these is mother in law.
After birth of Micah, Mark also need help with someone to help him taking care of the baby 24 hrs. No one else perfect for these job.. Mother in law. That's why we have constantly see his vlog. Also during these time Mark need someone to house sitting when they weren't home most of time so when they came back and the house is there(home burglary).
Do you think Ying's mom doing these thing for free food and rent, it's called LOVE?

Wow, that brings back memories. I did live in Bkk for 4 years. My Office was in Silom Soi 19, not far from good food places. Eating almost every night on the streets, meeting nice local people far from tourist places was amazing. Finding these special places for soup, hot pot, sea food next to Chao Phraya or even real Indian food became kind of a routine. Most of my friends in Bkk had no kitchen set up at home, only a fridge. You don't need it: just pick up what you like and eat right at the little food shops or take it home. You will find food almost 24/7. I miss it so much! Thanks for the vids! Cheers from Berlin

Mark is a very healthy eater (outside the camera).
At least 75% veggies.
Variation of protein (more chickpeas, fish, poultry and less four legged animals and red meat.
Healthy fats like avokado, nuts ect.
Water instead of juice, icetea, coca cola ect.
Choose wholegrain (bread, pasta ect), brown rice instead of white (and no more than 1 handfull carps a meal).
Avoid sugar.
Avoid processed foods.
30 minutes of daily workout.

Yeah and when people travel they tend to burn lots of calories. When I traveled to Italy I walked 110 km in 8 days. I lost around 2 kg within a week even though I ate A LOT. Mark walks a lot when he travels plus travels takes a lot of energy.

Yes, as a food vlogger, he needs to eat healthy foods too.
He starts his day off with caffeine, fructose and plenty of fiber and anti nutrients. This is not healthy it is extremely toxic for the body. also the pesticides on the vegatbles are hormone distruptors. I doubt he buys organic. The dark circles can be a sign of anemia from lack of red meat.

I've seen Keto videos where they start their day with caffine(no sugar), and it works for them. I think some diets work for some people, like keto, and other diets work better like vegan or carnivore. Every person is different, depending on genetics, age, and gender.
