    Hey you have got to take the rings off all of your jars. Please read up on it. Never ever keep the rings on your jars. It gives you a false seal. Ive been canning for 50 yrs. Please take rings off your jars. Thank you for tea recipe.

    • @cherylshomestead2729

      I have always left my rings on the jars. There's divide in the canning community of rings on vs off. I always say you have to do for your family what is comfortable for you. Thank you for you input and concern.

    • @cherylrichard9478
      @cherylrichard9478 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kandihenderson7226 I just looked it up...Fortunately, most teas are very mildly acidic. All Black Teas are between 4.9-5.5 on the pH scale, sweet tea falls around 4.5 on the pH scale which is below 4.6, which you can water bath can for pH scales 4.6 or lower. My motto is I do what I think is safe for me and my family in my kitchen, and it is up to others to do or not do what they feel comfortable with in their kitchen for themselves and their family.
