    Amazing. I love that you are you and not trying impress people with cutesiness. I sometimes stop watching a recipe video and look for others bcuz I can't stand the constant whining and baby talk crap. Straight to the point. In other words, thank you so much for not being obnoxious. VERY HELPFUL VIDEO. THANK YOU.

    Your videos have been a God sent blessing while going through many life changes & to me this is self care, feeding our bodies very nourishing foods in serving sizes that is better than even eating out & more affordable- I just moved & still haven't found everything & i just smile & think back to your videos of moving, it is hard work! My movers were shocked at the things i canned & your ears were probably ringing off the wall those days cause i told them of your channel- the sausage gravy & mac & chez & dragonheart juice were just a few that they wondered about🤭 Thank you beautiful one💙 Moving tip i learned too late, go to dollar tree & get a different color tape for each room to help find boxes-Meanwhile i sing somewhere over the boxes my stuff lies, i don't know where anything is so its always a suprise🤣

      @@FyreflyesFollies I’ve been trying different methods but have failed. First year I thought I could just freeze them while but it changed the structure. The second year I was able to squeeze and freeze ice cubes. I use straight up lemon juice water and jelly or fruit preserves to sweeten it up. I was trying to find different ways of using some of the jam jelly and preserves that I have because I have way too much. Also found an awesome recipe here on TH-cam for lemon drop jelly that works great as a lemonade add in. I'd like to do it in lime next.

      Hey if there's too much steam in the hallway my smoke alarm goes off!! I have been gone for 2 weeks because I was in the hospital on the cardiac intensive care unit and just got home yesterday . We knew nothing was wrong and now it seems that I would have died. But I'm doing OK. Never mix diabetes with uncontrolled blood sugar 30 years of heavy smoking and paying no attention to any of It. Women be careful! It's the men who have the slap Bang coronary and die in the mall and it's women who percolate through very quietly until that day comes when they are in heart failure. I pray for every woman who sees this. :) Meanwhile I have no living family anymore and no close friends.

    Do you think pineapple juice would work instead of puree? How would you adjust?

    • @FyreflyesFollies
      @FyreflyesFollies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't see why not, but I might cook the pineapple juice down a bit to concentrate it before adding. best suggestion for determining how much - grab a cup of water and add a teaspoon of each juice then taste, keeping count as you go. when you get to where you like it, count how many teaspoons you used. There are 16 teaspoons in a cup, 16 cups in a gallon, so it makes the math easier. This is the way I do it.

    • @FyreflyesFollies

      honestly, until you open it or the seal fails. Mine never lasts on the shelf more than about a year because I only can about a year's worth at a time, but I have a friend who is using jars 3 years old right now that are just as good as the day she canned them.

    • @FyreflyesFollies
      @FyreflyesFollies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      well, I have never had that happen with cheese sauce, but my first thought is that there were either bubbles hidden in the jars or the head space was off. (other things have done this to me, and it was one of the 2 problems listed, or I overtightened the rings). another issue could be that you need to let them cool a little longer in the canner before you take the lid off or remove them. As far as separation, that sometimes happens with cheese or dairy and you just need to give a gently shake or recombine it when you open it.
