Funny thing is when I played on Wario Stadium for the first time, I didn't even realize that it was from MKDS and I played that game to death.
I recognized the music for Mario Kart 8’s version of DS Wario Stadium.

No, I'm pretty sure that's not right. You're the only person I've ever heard hate on SNES rainbow road, but I agree with the tons of people that hate n64 rainbow road, Jaycob you're right on this one.
A lot of people hate it, but honestly, it was the perfect final level for the original SNES game.

CME Gonzalez I hate how watered down it is in this iteration. The other three versions were so much better and not only was it unneeded here, it was made easier and the music is far less intense.

Is it strange that this version of SNES Rainbow road is the only one that I enjoyed the music in? I always kinda disliked it before
TheFlyingCule Huh. I dunno, I just love the originals' intenseness and concentration it brought, but this version has none of that. I also have a lot of bad memories on this track due to firehopping scrubs (although there was one funny situation where this Morton had no idea how to do it properly, not that I do it anyways, and I saw him in my rear view mirror twice, once firehopping into a Thwomp, and once doing it off the course. XD).
I really loved how you made the Top 10 even MORE UNIQUE! Love it whenever you always try something new to your series. YEY! A Jacob appearence, ALWAYS nice to see him in your videos (since "Our Podcast is Ready" is canceled D; ). FINALLY! A Top 10 Retro tracks from a MK game that has Retro tracks, so if you started from MK8, so it'll be MK7 next and then from the next older games until MK DS? I hope so, so we can get more Top 10 Retro Tracks. This is an AWESOME video (AS ALWAYS)! ;)

Maria Jimena Figueroa but Mario Kart Wii has over 200 custom tracks made by fans so that’s how SNES Rainbow Road was on the Wii
The retro N64 Rainbow Road in Mario Kart 8 is in my opinion the best track in the entire series - It is an astonishing upgrade from the original and is simply gorgeous, not to mention the amazing remix of the theme used in the original version. It’s such a stunning track that has the same feel-good energy as the others in the city mixed with a very regal aesthetic.

shirehorse7 they absolutely RUINED Royal raceway! It was one of my fav tracks on the n64 . Unlikr my opinion in other tracks in the game. I thought the graphics looked better ( even though mk64 has aged terribly.) in the original. And they also took out the ultra shortcut. Plus the huge jump at the end of the track was my favourite part about the trac. Both the graphics and glider ramp made the huge jump at the end didn't fell that big!

I looked at some comments, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes SNES rainbow road. It's pretty fast paced which makes it fun.
Personally,I used to HATE Warios Gold Mine too,because when you touched the minecarts,you went flying into the air and fall a lot behind in the race.Also you were most likely to fall off the course.Now,I love what they did with the course.Its in inspiration to me.

Hmm, I really need to get the DLC.
I do wish that Cheese Land was set at night though. The course in MM: Super Circuit looked really cool because it looked like it was set on the moon if it was made of cheese. In Mario Kart 8, it just looks like a desert but with cheese props and a stronger yellow...setting it at night would've really set it apart from Dry Dry Desert.

I was really excited for the n64 rainbow road at first but this style seems more suitable for whenever they remake the gamecube rainbow road. I miss how the original was almost like glass. They could've done something beautiful with that, something like what was in rosalina's smash bros trailer. And then made the light sculptures into constellations rather than fireworks.
No mk64 nostalgia can beat the feeling of seeing Delfino Plaza for the first time.

My favorite Mario Kart game is 8 with Double Dash and Wii close behind. The battle mode in 8 is awful compared to Wii and Double Dash, but the racing, and the tracks have never been better.

here's my insanely unpopulair opinion that would probably cause the biggest flameware ever: I don't like it when a retro track changed much from the original.
When i saw the remakes on mario kart 8 i immedeatly started hating it more, because this game changes most of the retro tracks completely.
I also don't like the anti gravity gimmick.

You know i too at one point was saying that too! But for me i don't mind if the new tacks get remade but the least they cold do is give us the remade and the retro version to play on, i would probably go complete bananas if i knew i could actually pick both versions of Cheese land (Space and Desert themes) online!!! Same with Tick tock clock for another example getting the choice to pick the SM64 Tick tock clock one one time in a match and another time getting to play on the more updated version in a match!!! Nintendo i would love for both a classic return and a remake for all your retro tracks!!!
If you're talking about the track being remade with updated graphics and stuff, yeah you're probably going to start a flamewar.
If you're talking about how the track *plays*, that's a different story. I can agree on some part that some of the tracks are changed in a way that I don't like or I just find entirely pointless (GBA Mario Circuit and 3DS Neo Bowser City's anti-grav section, and GCN Sherbet Land's underwater section), but I'll disagree on some part that I think some of the tracks have changed in a better way (the anti-grav section in 3DS Piranha Plant Slide, and basically all of DS Tick-Tock Clock, and GBA Cheese Land and Ribbon Road).
...And then there are the courses that are practically unchanged. (DS Cheep-Cheep Beach, N64 Royal Raceway, GCN Yoshi Circuit, and 3DS Music Park in a literal sense)
