I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but in my perspective MKWii is the BEST Mario Kart. It's interesting to see others' opposite views of yours, so could you briefly explain why you're not a fan of Mario Kart Wii?

+Kcytoad One of the biggest turn offs for MK Wii for me is that it was the first game to introduce the new drifting mechanics. I'm a huge fan of the drifting mechanics in Double Dash and DS and it's never been the same starting with MK Wii. I also hate the Battle Mode now added a time limit; Battle Mode went downhill afterwards.
I really like Mario Kart Wii, and for fans of the ones before 2008, I get it. You just adore the aspects of the older ones than the newer ones. Besides the graphics obviously.
I like Mario Kart Wii because it has Koopa Cape. That's the best reason I can think of.
in mario kart 7 maple treeway yes the leaves can shoot out coins, but also stars and greenshells!

Mario Kart Wii is actually my favorite Mario Kart of all time. There are so many cool characters, karts, bikes and tracks. Some of the best ones include Mushroom Gorge, Maple Treeway, Bowser's Castle and Coconut Mall! But my all-time favorite track is Koopa Cape!

i've only ever played mkwii, and i'm very happy that you included many of my favorites from that game. koopa cape and maple treeway probably account for a good third of my time playing
That's some slick editing, NB.
I feel like Mario Kart Wii had some of the best tracks the Mario Kart series. Koopa Cape, Maple Treeway and Mushroom Gorge are among my favorites. It also had the best Bowsers Castle and in my opinion, the only good desert track. This Rainbow Road is a good challenge and probably the most visually impressive version as well. Toads Factory, Coconut Mall, DK Summit and Moonview Highway were also pretty good.
My favorite track though is Waluigi Pinball. The first time I played this track, I knew it was something special. Other favorites of my were the first 3 tracks I listed above, Tick Tock Clock, a few Rainbow Roads, Mount Wario, Wario Coliseum, DK Mountain, Wild Woods and the F-Zero tracks.

Uh..... a 2 Part "Top "20" "! Wow, that's exciting! You're really making this AMAZING! HYPE for the next part. But I have to say, The Angel really made this intro SO UNIQUE! I love how the Name Logo is showing the gameplay when the word is right at it, SHE DID AMAZING at this intro! Really cool. This list is getting intense! You certainly took longer for this Top 20, because it's obviously longer, THANK YOU for that. Your commentary for this is so GOOD, the editing and the things you talk about that it's not on topic with what you're saying. Like the YARN YASHIs! lol, so that's why those Yarn Yoshis are in this Top 10 list. xD Well HYPE HYPE HYPE for part 2! :D

When I first played Shy Guy Falls my brother and sister thought they were minions. I was.like Nintendo is rich but not that rich.
I bet that in Mario Kart 9, Nintendo will make a Pink Gold Royal Raceway just to spite you.
You know having a Bronze daisy would be cool, because of one of the statues in a Wii stage.
Also another great thing i loved about the Wii Mall track was the fact that the Posters would have your Mii created faces, so it encouraged you creating really weird and funny Mii's JUST for the tracks that have Mii's

You know, I’d REALLY love to see Coconut Mall remastered in HD (and no, the HD texture pack doesn’t count)
I’d just love to see more detail put into it, such as different parts of the shop, items, references, etc.
Also, I really want to hear Coconut Mall preformed by a proper jazz band. I’d love for it to be in Mario Kart 9, but Mario Kart 7 already took it :( Perhaps we’ll get it for DLC for MK9 or something, just like SNES Rainbow road in MK8
I've always wondered how my past self (whose favorite track in super circuit was ribbon road and before Mario kart Wii came out) would react to see what would become of ribbon road in the future. Also I love how Nathaniel says that electrodrome has some fun gliding jumps. Silly Nathan, there are no fun gliding jumps in MK8!
I love Maka Wuhu. It's my favorite course of all time. So glad it's on this list

20. N64 Rainbow Road (Wii U remake) - Breathtakingly stunning. They outdid the new one by a mile. 19. Super Bell Subway (Wii U) - Who came up with the idea of driving in a subway? They were a genius.18. Airship Fortress (DS) - I love airship levels. Finally, they are represented.17. Maple Treeway (Wii) - It's an experience. The track is okay and the music puts me close to tears it's so good.16. Royal Raceway (Wii U remake) - The females of Mario Kart are amazing and this track truly represents them.15. Koopa Cape (Wii) - A simple looking track that's truly relentless but still fun.14. Shy Guy Falls (Wii U) - You drive up a freaking waterfall. Need I say any more?13. Maka Wuhu is literally a drive through of Mii Sports Resort. You can do a very similar version of this track on the cycling courses or during an island flyover

You can take the port with the mushrooms on Dalfino Plaza. It just requres skill and if you use a bullet bill just as you jump from the ramp (facing the docks, of course) and the bill will jump it.

In Mario kart ds I can confirm you can do a short cut in involving the dock as there’s a small ramp at to the left just before the bridge that you scan using a mushroom boost of and land on the dock 👍
A track I would've included on this list, would be "Sky Garden" from Super Circut, it and "Bowser Castle 3" are among the highlights of Super Circut.

the fun part of Ribbon Road in MK8 is that you are literaly toys in a toy track, don't believe me? check in the track some toy boxes that resemble model kits/miniature toys resembling packaging of a racer + kart combo

Nathaniel, that shortcut in Delfino Square is possible; all you need is a mushroom or the triple mushrooms to make the jump.

Also in coconut mall, on the Wii, if you have a lot of miis in your wii plaza, around the mall there will be pictures of your miis promoting items for the mall, and you might actually see your mii cheering you on!
Maple Treeway is actually my favorite course in Mario Kart Wii. Coconut Mall and Koopa Cape are a close 2nd and 3rd.
In electrodrome, the green route is actually a little longer because it turns out passed the pink route at the end of the section

Don't forget that there's this huge shortcut on Maka Wuhu. My record for it on time trials is 1:16 lol.
