Rachelle smith A joyous interview. It has been a pleasure for me to see your face again, your vitality, the strength that you transmit with your words and especially with your overwhelming joy in this interview. Waiting for your new Camino de Santiago, to be able to walk by your side and feel your experiences. Thanks. May life smile at you, the same as you smile at life. Congratulations and thousands of thanks.
Dear Rachelle, what a beautiful interview. I continue watching your videos, while I prepare for my own path. It remains a very useful and encouraging guide. May God give you the possibility of taking another path with your family or part of it. Thank you for the gift of your videos. God bless you and 'Buen Camino' in life
Thank you so much!! I’m so happy you are still enjoying the videos-can’t believe it’s been almost 5 years for me!! I continue to pray for another Camino and hope one will happen very soon. Enjoy the journey-before, during, and after!! Buen Camino!!
I really enjoyed watching all your videos, they brought me back on the way. Thank you so much for this! I walked the Frances in 2010, parts of it in 2011 an 2012 and met a crazy belgian guy on the Camino de Norte in 2015 whom I married a year after. We're planning to be back on the Camino in may 2023 to show our little girls where mum and dad met.
Dear Rachelle, I saw all the beautiful videos you shot along the way at El Camino. I think you did it just great. I also shoot, but mainly for the Israel National Trail. I know what this task requires while walking in these places. Thank you so much for sharing with us all the beautiful videos, the interesting explanations and you edited everything so beautifully. I hope to walk this beautiful path in the future, thank you very much
Rachelle, your enthusiasm and great presentation made for an excellent interview. The Camino also provided for me in 2019 in Zubiri. Exactly as I arrived across the ancient stone bridge about 1700, and elderly lady appeared from a side road and stopped me. She said she had a room for one person available in her hotel for 40 euro. She pointed up-river to a residential neighborhood, but I saw no hotel. Anyway it was more than I wanted to spend, so I thanked her and continued into the village to look for an albergue. Turned out that all of the albergues and hotels in and around the entire village and next village were full. The large municipal albergue was closed for renovation. Pilgrims had been taking taxis to Pamplona most of the afternoon. I spent a futile hour looking, but finally went back to the neighborhood, found a small door marked hotel and got the room.
Oh wow-what time of year did you walk? Sounds like what we encountered and I wonder if we walked around the same time! The Camino surely does provide!! Buen Camino!
@@IllGetThere I started during the week after Easter. It was my first spring Camino. Little did I know that most of Spain is on holiday that week, and the towns are very crowded.
1st. I virtually walked the Santiago while I watched your vlog in the midst of the pandemic and loved it! It helped me pass the time in such a positive way. 2. Until I watched this interview I thought you were in your early 30’s, had maybe a boyfriend. I loved that you talked about not making it a race and doing it at your own speed. I will never forget one time at Angels Landing at Zion I was with a group of teens and they were struggling. We met a woman who was 70 and with a group that were doing it at their pace. Great lesson! 3. Your story of how this all came to fruition is total Magic! Buen Camino every day!
Oh, thank you so much! I’m so happy you were able to walk along with me while on your own virtual Camino! And you are too kind. ☺️ So glad you enjoyed the videos and I wish you well! Buen Camino in life, peregrina! 👣
Thanks so much for reminding me of all those fantastic memories of the Camino. I agree that the Camino really does change you. An experience we will never forget and will always be so grateful that we had the opportunity to hike it, and especially blessed to have bumped into you along the way! Buen Camino!
I absolutely love watching the two of you and both of your channels. Please continue your positive energy & spiritual nature. I can’t wait to sing in the tunnels 💕I leave next week for the epic journey:) cheers
Great Interview! Just to let you know when I hiked the AT and PCT in the USA so, so many generous strangers offered to let me sleep in their garage/cabin/suite/guest house, and offered me rides, food, showers, laundry etc., I think Americans are some of the most generous kind people in the world :) They are called "trail angels".
Thank you so much! Glad you found the info helpful!! And BOTH my dogs are hams! Always fighting for attention, lol. 😄 Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment! Buen Camino! 👣
Glad to see BDE travel... How are the girls.. enjoyed you're traveling threw the Camino
