    This video demonstrates how to remove the mower deck from a Cub Cadet riding mower, and install the snow blower attachment and tire chains.

    The latch part of the chain's goes on the outside......pull the transmission lever sticking out the back out before you turn the back wheels........make it a little easier for you....also saves damage to transmission.....

    Looks like a pain to do that swap. I'm glad I have my old 1976 cub that has quick connects on it.

      The old cubs are great. My brother has my Grandpa's old 1969 cub with a mower and snowblower. Paul had it for a while bit it was too much maintenance for him.

    I'm considering getting one of those attachments for my XT2. How reliable has the snowblower been for you? Is it low maintenance? Do you have a big driveway? TIA!

    I have a 2018 Cub Cadet XT2 Enduro Series LX46 21.5 HP Kawasaki FR651V V-Twin OHV 726cc & Bercomac 44" Northeast Snowblower with electric winch lift, chute, deflector. To swap the cutting deck over to the Bercomac snowblower is much easier and

    Looks like a giant cluster f@#k! Steered me away from getting one of these snow blowers!

      It's not bad really, but there are quite a few steps and pieces to changing from mower to blower and back. The most important part is keeping all the parts you're not using stored together safely so they're ready for the next season.

      It may be too late in the season to find one locally. Try searching online and see if you can order one.
