Hey there. Not sure you can help me here, but I just purchased a Weber Slate and seasoned it according to the instructions. It is now really tacky….think I may have over seasoned. How would one recommend I clean this off?
Hi Judy, cook on it a few times and after each cook, give it a good scrape and wipe down, that tackiness should go away. If not, I recommend lightly scrubbing it (while cold) with light oil and a green scrubby. this should smooth it out nicely. Happy Cooking, Chef Jason
