It's so nice to be able to revisit How to Eat Life, since it is an english cover that is rather beloved in the Trickle community. Oh my goodness… I’ll be completely honest, I was in love with your original cover of this song, but from the incredible control you show jumping intervals to the really subtle but lovely octave harmonies happening during the verses, the improvement is clear and so exciting!! i don’t know what it is, but I really love the clarity of the line at 2:17, and I love how it contrasts with more rough tones like the line at 3:43!! I’ll miss shouting “Leap of Faith” when listening along, but this is an amazing and much anticipated remaster!! Thank you so much :D

when i was 16 during junior year (im 18 now) i would listen to your first one ALL the time, especially because of online school i had a lot more time to listen to music i had the cover in a soundcloud playlist. im a huge fan of eve and your voice is perfect for his songs. and what made me smile about seeing the post date is that this was posted on my 18th birthday, its so nostalgic to hear☺️

I love how you put the meaning of each song in the disc. I’m a person who listens to music for the meaning and expression so I typically chose songs that I relate to or apply to me personally. (This tends to be a lot of J-pop and Vocaloid). It helps so much, I can imagine it can take a while to decipher song lyrics and their meanings :))

The first ever cover of yours I discovered was Traffic Jam, years ago. I remember really enjoying it, especially as it being the only English cover of Traffic Jam at the time.
And then, months ago, I found your cover of Lower! I was so blown away. The lyrical adaptation was perfect and only enhanced the song. Plus, your voice was wonderful and stuck with me for long after.
Today, I found this cover. I almost wanted to cry. This song meant so much to me some time ago, and being able to rediscover it is a blessing. You’ve been able to write the lyrics to capture the meaning perfectly while also keeping the rhythm. Your voice constantly impresses me (and the little songs at the very end always make me laugh).
