Yo people need to be aware there is a 100 hour limit a month.if your ok with this they just keep raising prices like netflix and add more limits shame on eta prime for not leting people now
I guess it's just not very profitable and it makes sense. Giving people access to such beefy hardware and internet with all the power draw it needs would cost a lot and take them forever to earn back
I cancelled my subs after 2 years because of the new 100 hours limit! I don't play 100 hours each month but when I need game coming and I want to play alot I don't want to be restricted. Like poe 2 over 150 hours in 3 weeks.
@@Joker-TMF the time you don't use you can use it on the next month so unless you play more than a hundred hours every single month you should be pretty safe
It's certainly the best cloud streaming service out there, but one of the biggest problems with it is the game library with certain developers. Many major studios have decided to opt out and now they've also imposed a monthly cap on number of hours you can stream. But it's also good that they offer a 1-hr free tier. It's best if you try it outside of peak hours to get a shorter queue.
I have a geforce now membership I use it on my lenovo legion Go and the response time is faster its better than using lossless scaling or amd fluid motion frames, but its 17.99$ a month but if you can afford it and have the games in the library, and good internet it comes in handy to play games on a handheld with no lag and no stutters
Lowkey might try this out soon. I wanna get a new PC but I don't have the money. I've had a decent experience with the free tier before. I'm moving in a month so if my internet is good enough at my new place I might give this a shot to hold me over for singleplayer games
Isn't there a local, self-hosted version of this?....where you have a gaming rig upstairs, but can stream to your Nvidia Shield in the living room for example?
You can use Steam or Moonlight to do pretty much the same but with hosting done on your PC... For Steam streaming and Moonlight you need to be on same network for it to work.
GeForce now is a good option for people without a beefy main rig in their home but if u have a good rig then the sunshine and moonlight programs are a Godsend
It's definitely a lot more stable now, It really does feel like you're just using a regular computer compared to the "meh" experience I delt with in cloud gaming... Using this service is almost indistinguishable from using an actual computer. They have unfortunately used a limit of 100 hours so that might add to the fact as to why it's so stable now.... Because let's be honest I obviously play more than a hundred hours a month, and so you limit the number of people using the service and it can run better... Preferably though I rather just buy a better computer and run my games through that instead, but for the time being I don't mind spending 20 bucks a month to enjoy that top of the line graphics card.
Agree i remebering it 4-5 years ago during the covid period vs now where it has become alot more stable! Almost feels like local install!. It shall be noted that with cloud gaming not always the problem is from the user end internet connection! Sometimes server data center end the problem is! Thats the real reason behind the 100 hour limit too many people on it on the same time
They have a few games for GOG like cyberpunk, but honestly it's like a very select few of games that even have that option.... I rather want them to focus on account synchronization with the epic game store, because besides steam the epic store is my second biggest gaming digital library.
So a question for u: do u experience any type of stutters when u play ue5 games through this? I mean if a game like Fortnite is played will u experience stutters that come inherent with the game? Or all the games have already shaders compiled so u get smooth experience right from the first play through?
It's smooth if you have a very strong network connection and live near an nvidia data center. Competitive games like fortnite will never feel perfect though since there will always be some input lag
@arjundureja I never meant that...I mentioned Fortnite since it's a ue5 and has lots of stutter ..so what I wanted to ask is do u get that stutter here as well?
Yeah I was kind of hoping they added like Hogwarts legacy and stuff like Jedi survivor (especially when they have Jedi fallen order but not the second game?) but.... Meh, they do eventually add major titles like they did for last Thursday for Baulders Gate 3 with mod support.
Day 5 of me testing a theory. Does ETA Prime actually interact with his chat when he asks us to post a chat. Ill be looking at all posts. Day one and two hasnt gotten a like or a comment from him so far. I mean all it would take is him liking anyones post. This just goes to show, some content creators dont care about the viewers and that were just numbers to some. Well, lets just see. If im worng, ill happily admit it but even LTT and Jayztwocents makes time for their viewers. They actually appreciate that we take the time to watch their videos. I'm not saying he doesn't but if it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck and tastes like a duck, it's a duck.
I think you already know the answer to your theory, but I'll go ahead and say it. ETA only reacts to a couple of comments within a few minutes of a video being posted. After that, you won't see anything from him. He doesn't care what the comments say...he just cares that there are comments. TH-cam will promote videos based on user engagement, so likes, comments and subscribers are the only things that matter. This is why he always ends his video asking "if you want to see anything else on a given product, let him know". He has no intention of reading the replies...he just wants you to reply.
You can’t play your whole library because not every game is on their platform and you can’t add mods to your games. I’ll get this once these things that should be standard, change.
when nvidia finishes its machine learning, they will sell geforce now at the price of video cards. now there are no real fps and then there will be no real video cards at all.
There are a lot of free to play games like Fortnite, COD, Apex etc that you can just play on it. I don't play those types of games but they are on there. Is the 4080 not good enough?

you could do more severe testing if it wasn't sponsored...
Wish they’d add GOG as an account synchronization but it kinda goes against GOG’s philosophy so I feel like that will never happen
