True, but the technicians were still dumb (or at least arrogant) enough to ignore the Harbinger's warning about Marty's drugs & ignoring the tunnel until it was almost to late, so they have no excuse for their stupidity.
I think one of the moments I liked the most was when Dana had just finished stabbing a zombie once, and the weapon she used shocked her so she dropped it. You always get mad when a character drops a weapon when they aren’t sure the tormentor is dead, but she had an excuse because it gave her a small shock while she was distracted.

While it's not a character-saving example, the movie Oculus has people setting up cameras to record what's going on because they remember things differently than how they were. Among these cameras are some security cameras that are fixed in the upper corner of the room. When their primary cameras end up pointed at each other instead of where they were meant to be, they are then able to review the footage to see what actually happened.
Oculus is such a good movie. I love how they make the characters smart just to have them be fooled anyway. I really wanted her to beat that mirror though lol

A quiet place made a major mistake of having the hearing impaired girl be the quietest. Deaf people tend to be loud because they can’t hear themselves or have a proper understanding of what makes what noise in their environments. Without her hearing aide she would be able to know if she was making noise or not. She took it off often and somehow is supposed to be stealthier than everyone else

Halloween ends was such a disappointment. Michael deserved much better. After the first Hellraiser, I couldn't watch any others. It was so bad. The new Invisible Man was awesome. Such a great twist. In A Quiet Place, the fireworks weren't set off until after the baby was born so they could all get back to the barn.

I never understood in A Quite Place why they didn't just sound proof a room for the birth of the baby or why she would get pregnant in the first place. If the monsters could hear a lamp falling over in their house certainly it could heal moans from love making or unconscious sounds everyone makes during sleep like snoring.
Because the family in "A Quiet Place" were so incredibly dumb that the only reason they survived the monster invasion is plot armor. I really hate using plot armor as an excuse, but honestly, those people acted like they'd been surviving against monsters that can hear sound for a few days, not a year+. Between leaving batteries on a counter IN THE CHILD'S reach after telling them no, to then leaving the child alone in the room while they walked off and just assumed "Oh yea, cause no child has ever done anything questionable when left to temptation", to THEN having the sister GIVE the youngest the batteries knowing FULL WELL why they were taken, what a family of complete f-ing morons, and we're only 5 minutes into the movie! I could go on about all the stupid crap they do as "survivors" but it basically comes down to there's no way they should have survived the invasion if this is how they're acting all that time afterwards. The topping to that shit show of a movie is that everyone claimed "The Silence" was a rip off of it, however "The Silence" movie was based on a book of the same name that was released in 2015. "A Quiet Place" didn't start being written/directed until later in 2016, and while I'm no historian, I'm pretty sure that's a year plus after the book was released, which is amazingly coincidental. The only reason "A Quiet Place" did so well is because of John Krashinski being the director and main character.

If I remember correctly, they did have a DIY soundproof room for that reason. The room that eventually is filled with water had pasted newspapers and egg cartons lining the walls. The problem was that she unfortunately went into labor when a creature was nearby, so she couldn't safely make it to that room.

Sid grabbed it because it was a glass bottle, right beside her, that she could use as a weapon. It just happened to be hand sanitizer. - Gale didn't "shoot Mikey in the face"... She shot AMBER in the torso, three times which resulted in her falling back onto the lit stove. All you have to do is watch the movies youre pretending to know about to avoid clowning yourselves like this. Thats not too much to expect

barbarian is probably one of the WORST horror movies i have seen in a really long time. it tried so hard to be different that absolutely NOTHING connected in the story. the "mother" was a rip off of the MAMA ans Smile creature. i wish they would have just made 2 separate movies. it was A HUGE WASTE OF TIME! i watched it a while back and im still mad at this movie. the only thing that was even remotely good about this movie was the acting and the choice of actors. other then that worst movie (horror) movie ever.

The Menu has a great decision wherein the main character asks for a cheeseburger and it winds up saving her life.
