its not that they mistaked Ben as a zombie, heck they didn't even check to make sure. its that they never accepted Ben as person in the first place.
That’s the point of that whole scene
I think the point is actually in-between in my interpretation. They did initially think he was a zombie, but when they realize he isn’t they have such a lack of humanity that it doesn’t bother them either way
Meredith Vickers was lucky considering what happened to Shaw...
You could add Kay from Alien: Romulus onto this list
You know Evan Lewis from Final Destination 2 would be nice to see on the list. He literally avoided fire in his apartment and climbed down safely and even though he slipped on spaghetti if reacted quickly and rolled over he could've survived longer and potentially met the other survivors but including Tim is also okey, should've stayed with his mom and not run after some pigeons.
This video feels like half way through that it swapped its premise from people that died moments before being saved to dumb deaths in horror movies.
True
The bit about Resident Evil I though would be about the 100% unfair death of Kaplan at the end, but no, it was the laser scene
Tim was so clearly written as a small child, and the script wasnt changed at all when it was decided that it was too macabre to have a little kid stalked by Death
But for the majority of FD2 it appeared death was stalking a pregnant woman. That's fine but not a kid.
@lizanna6390 the kid would have been portrayed by an actual child actor, which can make the difference
@@lizanna6390she was never meant to die. Death wasn’t after her.
Watch the Prometheus clip again. While the women certainly were panicked, it was not a blind panic. Neither Vicker nor Shaw ran perpendicular to the rolling juggernaut because there were huge chunks of burning debris loudly crashing down on either side of the of the rolling ship's path.
Must not have watched the Friday the 13th movies thoroughly when you said Julius would have been okay if he had just turned and ran away. Firstly, he had been trying to get away from Jason, but he got cut off a couple times, so when he realized he wouldn’t be able to get away, that was when he chose to try and stand his ground. There have been plenty of people throughout the franchise that did try and run and either tripped or got tired and Jason eventually catches up to them anyways. Doesn’t matter how fast Julius ran, he would eventually run out of energy and need to rest like anyone else and Jason would have caught up to him anyways, like he already had before Julius tried to box him. Jason wouldn’t have been all like, “Oh he is running away again, I’ll let him go this time”; he would have chased him down and gotten to him once more eventually. Also, wouldn’t even take Julius stopping as there have been several instances in the series of Jason catching up to people who hadn’t stopped running, tripped, or tried to hide. Lastly, just because we didn’t see him running in the later films, doesn’t mean he wasn’t capable of doing so. Julius was cooked no matter what he tried to do at that point short of managing to pull a Tommy Jarvis and killing Jason.
I think Dewey's death was a self deletion decision. The love of his life was no longer part of it (both in the movie and IRL) & he's worn out and tired...what better way to kill yourself than to sacrifice yourself to help others get away.
Maybe Dewey had faith in his own plot armour. I was actually a little bit surprised he had really died.
I must’ve been about 9 yrs old in ‘81 at my aunties and she put on zombie flesh eaters video and I can clearly remember the eyeball scene 🏴
Of course Helen Shivers is on the list. Most frustrating and heartbreaking death in horror. She fought like hell. She should have been the films final girl. She was a much better, more interesting character than Julie James.
The Soldier in Army of the Dead, I actually knew guys who were that stupid in the Army. We had one guy who was overweight and couldn't pass tape test, so our site supervisor is monitoring his diet and exercise, tried to sneak a doughnut every morning. I was forced to eat a lot of doughnuts.
You know event horizon needs to be on this list don't lie
this should have been called "saw/scream characters who were seconds away from surviving - plus like 3 others"
Julius had the right idea actually. He punched Jason so many times that Jason was close to falling off the building. Instead of running or letting Jason take a swing, bro shoulda just pushed Jason or delivered a drop kick! Jason falls and he can escape.
ive been a fan of your channel for so long this is the first time i've been so early. Keep Posting your AMAZING videos.
I can't imagine how much you'd have to spend at a hardware store to make two walls slide together and crush a person. The Saw series is insanely dumb
"Welcome to Home Depot, what project can we help you with today?"
"I want to play a game."
Scream 2 IMHO just isn't a very good movie to start with.
I hate the ending of Night of the Living Dead. I know why it ended that way but still hate it.
God that ending was satisfying in Saw VI. F*** William.
hi
I'm sure the stories are real and the fallout from thst time, but it's clearly riding the cultural buzzpoint that was the Quiet On Set doc series.
I’ve literally never heard anyone complain about Helen Shivers death. Not one person. It was a typical horror movie death. That’s all. Nobody is crying about it except What Culture

Don’t forget about everyone in the car in “Halloween Kills”. The three in the car all stood a hair of a chance. If it weren’t for the stupidity of nurses Loomis who shoots out all of the windows trying to hit Michael.

The son had to die for the mist to disappear
Watch culture uses the most as porn
In the story, the Army had opened a dimensional portal, and it just took them time to contain it. The ending is different than the movie, so your take is fully valid, and interesting. Well played
The ending of The Mist can be perceived two ways. The first being basically what you said. The other implies Mrs Carmody was right. Mrs Carmody convinced her flock that the only way for this to end is to sacrifice David’s son. In the ending the son is killed and then the military comes through cleaning up the area. Meaning that once David’s son is sacrificed it ended.
