When I'm sad she'll climb up into my lap and meow until I tell her I'm okay and give her a pet then she climbs down and goes and does her own thing...

It's really heartwarming how this cat adopted a human. They just seem to do that.

My male Tiger Tabby is so frickin smart compared to the other cats I've owned. He will clock out soon (21 yrs old) and I will rescue another one after his passing. The waxxxines they force on your animals make them sick. CHECK YOUR LOCAL LAWS as you don't have to give your cats yearly shots. They can test for immunity and extend the shots to 3 years.

I took in a stray kitten in 2015. He was less than 4 weeks old. He almost never meows, and when he does it is extremely faint. On the flip side, he purrs louder than any cat I've ever met. Maybe it's a trauma thing? Or normal but atypical?
@@MeganVictoriaKearns It's definitely not trauma, and I would lean toward it being normal. I have a tuxedo cat that I raised from a kitten. She's never had anything even remotely traumatizing happen to her, yet she meows very faintly. If you weren't listening hard for it, you'd miss it. I think it just depends on how their vocal chords develop. It's likely that simple.

Oh, he'll be back on the bike. Ankles heal, and there's no rotational torque when pedaling.
He did have to stop cycling for a while when COVID happened because a lot of the countries he needed to travel through closed their borders. I think he's back on the road though.

My cat is also named Nala. I didn’t name her, she had been neglected and then abandoned by her first family. She was super skittish, wouldn’t eat unless she was hand fed, and never left her bed. I knew when I saw her that she was mine. When we got home she hid for a few day but by day 4 she was sleeping with me, eating normally, and playing. I’ve had her for 2 years now (she just turned 4) and she’s my little love bug.
Those who abandoned this little cat are idiots. 🤯 Look how much love and loyalty she has! ❤ You are a good guy! 👍You gained a lot more than you spent your time. Now she will delight you until the end of her days...

She ran right to me and slept on my left cheek all night the first night, because my older kitty wouldn't accept her till the next day. Is that OK with you? God, I loved those crazy, nay, insane, skits where that couple let the cat drive the car repeatedly despite the fact that she drove them off the cliff every time! If someone isn’t familiar look it up on TH-cam. It is surreal.

The moment he asks Nala if she's okay and Nala meows back, has me sitting at my desk at work with tears in my eyes. I love cats so much. My cat is very vocal and we speak to each other often.
Yesterday i had a cat knead my leg like she was giving me a message as i was seated and when i held her she was rapidly purring. Do you know what this behavior means? Cat isn't showing any signs of aggression. Enjoy your cats.

This video just came recommended on my feed. At the time of the original release I was at an unexpected crossroad in life and had to radically change my life and future. I ended up in a skoolie with my dog and an abandoned kitten. A few months later I adopted another kitten abandoned by the highway. 2 years later we are doing great, we have helped multiple kittens find homes and helped others along the way.
The dog and the 2 cats are my favorite family.

I wasn’t a cat person until my girlfriend persuaded me to get ONE, we went to see a friends newborn kittens and much to my surprise came home with 2. After not wanting them in the first place I fell in love with them, named them Scotch and Soda and when my GF and I split, my only concern was the custody of the cats. My ex, bless her couldn’t bear to separate them and because Scotch in particular had bonded so much with me, she let me keep them both. They both lived 19 years and were amazing companions.
Great names for the cats! My friend has 2 black kitties that her dtr named Spock & Scotty.

I’m crying. I found a kitten the other day while door dashing. She just hoping in my car as I was walking back to my car. I immediately stopped taking orders for the day and it’s been three weeks and she’s still here.
My husband found a kitten about 4 weeks ago. He was in a parking lot and no one was around. So he brought her home. We now have 4.😻😻😻😻

@@tommyriner9914 partially true. Cats have personalities but they can be made comfortable with some things. A lot of cats would never work with riding bikes. My cat, I adopted from a shelter when she was about 2 years old. So, she is what she is. I love her.
I think stray/rescue cats grow much more attached to their human. My mom found a stray and it was the sweetest most well behaved and loving cat. A few years later she adopted a kitten from a family and it was the exact opposite. Only broke things and never liked being held hahaha
@@SeafishNeko all the shelter cats we had were usually more of a loners, we could pick them up and everything, cut their nails, cuddle, but they would do their own thing. I got a kitten last year was 3 months then, and he just loves to be around. Like 24/7 he'll follow me everywhere even right now im on a toilet and he is near my feet. He uses his hands to pick up thing sometimes, catches my hands. And he just wants to be near me. Its the first time from the 4 we owned that a cat is this friendly with me. He is and outside cat, we let him outside and he is friendly with neighbours too, curious tries to climb into their cars and just loves people. Other cat we had would avoid strangers.

There is nothing more magical than when an animal chooses you. My pitbull boy Jaeger was in the shelter for his entire life (almost a year, he was a month shy of his first birthday which is when they were going to put him down since clearly no one wanted him), he was quiet, he was subdued, he just was kind of laying on the concrete with no desire to move. And then I saw him and he saw me and picked his head up. Just a little bitty bit of recognition. So I sat down on the floor in front of his kennel and he came over and sat next to me on the other side of the bars, just licking the life out of my hands and fingers. I wanted to be thorough in my search for a dog, so I left him there for about two weeks, but I visited him every other day or so, took him for walks, did some basic training. By the third visit, it was a done deal. All he had to do was hear my voice in the lobby and all of a sudden you'd hear this massive WOOF, and I'd go back and he'd be clambering against the cage, whining and pawing and licking and just wiggling his whole body in the way that pitties do.
This dog went on to save my life. He took down a mugger on one of our nighttime walks. The guy had a knife and my boy did get slashed but it was not serious, the dude was arrested, like... it was straight out of a fairy tale. But he chose me, he chose me, and he was not going to let some punk with a knife undo that choice. It is seriously magic, something just out of this world, I don't have the words to describe it.
Always rescue. They will rescue you right back.

Oh I saw that whole family "reunion" when he uploaded it on his channel as a vlog, and I definitely remember crying at seeing the reaction of "Gran."
It's clear that his character, kindness, and instinct to take a lonely, vulnerable animal with him (while in a foreign country, without any cat food, bed, litter box, or experience with owning a cat his entire life, I should add) are definitely a reflection on his entire family, and a perfect example of how to treat not only your fellow family members, but everyone you meet as well.
The moment made me tear up. They're such a loving family. It was beautiful to see!
