G Senjou no Maou is one I've heard about even from when I started getting into VNs over a decade ago. And I just remember it being a bit mixed for reception, so I just have had it in my backlog for a million years.
Oh you're back! And with a banger to boot. G Senjou no Maou is one of my favorite vns of all time. Also a cool addendum is that all of the ost is made out of remixed classical music tracks.
Hey! Nice video. It's a classic VN for sure. I thought G-Senjou was a step up from Sharin. As you say it's a very compelling mystery, and the music is beautiful. I agree that the romance aspects are something of a sideshow, and you're right about the finale, it's action packed and brilliant. I didn't like the epilogue, but then again, I am not at all a fan of large timeskip epilogues and this is another example of that in a VN unfortunately. Please continue making these VN introduction videos! Thanks.
i really like your content. I ultimately dropped this because I thought the proportion between slice of life and romance outweighed the mistery and mental battle I wanted to see (Iwanted somethinbg like VLR, death note, umineko) . Do you recommend anything?
ENDING SPOILERS CLEARLY ... Are you referring to the game's ending where it's suddenly revealed that Maou's identity is completely different from everything that was alluded up to that point? Because I certainly enjoyed the game up to that point, but the ending left me with a bad taste and a feeling of disappointment that it could have been so much better if only the author had committed to the fact that there was no way the protagonist was going to get a good ending without the "ass pull of a plot twist" that essentially retconned giant clues pertaining to Maou's identity.
The problem with all these Death Note inspired titles and ripoffs alike is that the writers don't understand how intelligent people think and seem to think they're wizards.
OH WARUDO CHAOS HOW I MISSED YOU

Please dont leave us ever again mr warudo
I feel old how long have you been gone😂 but finally you are back 🎉
found you with your kindaichi video
If it's weren't for the plot twist this could have been an easy 10/10. If this VN were to ever get an anime that plot twist should be removed.
ZA WARUDO!
did you take a look on Baldr Sky?

It’s been so long… 🥹
Tbh G-Senjou lost me with it's complete ass pull of a "plot twist". Nice to see you back though, you've been missed

Was considering it until the Munou na Nana writer thing, the conclusions of the strategy battles are always laughably horrible
