Shinedown has been around for about 20 years and almost every song is amazing. Many of their songs are about mental health awareness. I'm a photographer for a radio station and have been able to shoot photos of their shows and their meet & greets. They are really nice guys.
Shinedown does a cover of Simple Man which quiet a few people know also Second Chance is a popular song, Sound of Madness and Monsters. They are a band that people say they dont know untill you play a song and people realise they do know them
Saw them for the first time in 2004. I’ve seen them a few times since and met them twice. Super nice guys and talented for sure!! This song is about the lead singers battle with depression which is why this one hits so deep and why they do so much for mental health awareness.
Please do more Shinedown!! They frequently address mental health and addiction. Daylight Cut the Cord How Did You Love Sound of Madness. Cheers from Pennsylvania USA 🇺🇸
One thing that was in the visuals of the video that I haven't seen anyone mention is that towards the end, as she's leaving the library, other people are reading books with the same title as the song. I interpret that as reinforcing that "we are all just passing through", feeling a lot of the same things, but it looks different for each of us.
You've reacted to simple man from Lynyrd Skynyrd, these guys did a cover of that song for RVZ's widow. There's a little history with those bands. He really shows you his vocal range with that one. Sound of madness, black soul, and monsters are all a litttle heavier and hit harder but strong lyrically. Most of their songs are about mental health, addiction, suicide prevention. Unity is another one. Glad I stumbled across your channel. I enjoy your reactions.
So many songs that feel like they were written about me. Maybe try Sideways by Theory of a Deadman. Shinedown have a whole bunch of songs relating to mental health issues. They are so often mt go to band
Once you hear 1 song from shinedown you'll want to hear more and there songs really do have this emotional attachment. They are well requested on TH-cam reacters channels Referring to the "Miss November Rain" I think brent(lead singer) said somewhere that he belived that November rain was his equivalent to Bohemian Rhapsody. But he refers it to a simpler time.
18 No.1 hits. A good chance that you have heard something from them. Another powerful one by them that tells a great story. Complicated as well 😢 Monsters by Shinedown. (Not the James Blunt song)

Brent Smith one of the greatest voices ever. You have opened a can of worms. They have no bad songs.

They very into mental health and suicide prevention
This song hits the soul so hard it's hard not to tear up while listening to it. Really gets the mind going.
Some ppl equate his vocal in this song to sounding similar to the singer from Train
I can see/hear that. I just recorded a reaction to a Train song, but its currently blocked.
Just saw Shinedown in July. Absolutely loved their show!
Awesome! Definitely want to explore more of their music.

Question? Are you familiar with the Aussie singer Paul Kelly?
I am not (as of now)
Excellent. I'll hit you up in the near future with a coffee to get him on the never ending list. I'll just need to track down a good intro song
Simple Man
