Beautiful voice, accentuated by life experiences and sorrows....so much to miss now that she is gone. A family friend loved her music, as well....he drove the crummy for the loggers on his logging site, and always played Patsy Cline's 8 track in his truck. A special favorite and memory. RIP Dan, and Patsy!
Wow that’s so cool, you must have been a great fan. I'm really much impressed with your word. I don't normally write in the comment section, but I think you deserve this compliment
At 76 this song is still a favorite along with everything that Patsy sang. And yes, I am also lucky to have grown up listening to country music on the big AM mono radio. My mother was a trained classical violinist who played in the university/city symphony orchestra, but both parents liked country music as well. When my brother and I were in our mid teens we bought a large console AM/FM stereo record player with our own money for our parents as an anniversary present Then the whole family (7 of us) were able to music the way it should be listened to. Thank you mom and dad, you blessed all five of us kids with a great life.
This was my Mums favourite song, when she passed away 2 years ago we played this at her funeral. Miss her each and every day more. RIP Mum we all miss you so much xxxx
@chazgisby I was 19 years old and in the hospital awaiting surgery when I heard the news of the plane crash that took Patsy. Music has not been the same since
Patsy is the greatest female singer of all time I’ve been listening to her forty years gone way to early she’s singing with the angels gone but never forgotten
I have had this song playing in my head for the last week. My marriage is over and I need what gives me strength right now and I’m finding it in familiar music. This song brought tears to my eyes.
I hope, a year later, that you're well on your way to a new and fantastic life. Sending you huge hugs and lots of love. Things can only get better from here, I know it 😊🖤!

Imagine what she would of accomplished if she never would of died. She changed country music and paved the way for today's female artist.. We all love u Patsy!! May u rest in peace
Probably the most perfect American woman singer. There’s a depth and heart felt warmth nobody else conveys. Rips at everyone’s heart, as did her terribly tragic death.
My husband one year after I had my son and we were living with my inlaws. He made it special for me. We had Blue Hawaii CD playing for New Year's Eve. For dinner had steak and potatoes. Thanks Elvis for the music! When I was 5 yrs. old had a crush on Elvis!❤

Yes Marcy, no autotune, patsy sang straight from the ❤. She put so emotion into her songs , this one. She would usually do a recording in one take. No autotune, or overdubes. Patsy had a unique voice, richly blessed. She still lives on, through her recordings. She is much dearly missed. She was way ahead of her time, in doing songs, that many would not even attempt doing.
I don't care how many times I hear this song. That very first note when Patsy belts out the word "sweet" gives me chills on my arms. It never fails.
Aw you are to young to remember this
@@rosebrown9265 I might be but I have an old soul when it comes to music.
