22 year's married my man went to live upon the angels 30 day's ago. I stood by his side every single day for 22 year's right through cremation. I love my man and will continue to stand by him. Until we're together my love! I know you are here with me you were by my side as well for 22 year's and you continue to be you just have wing's now. I'm not a widow I'm a wife to a husband with wing's!
This song reminds me of my great grandparents. Great grandpa fought in ww2 and great grandma took care of the six children they had together. Their oldest child died back in 1972 and great grandpa died a month to the day later of a broken heart. My great grandma lived until 2020 and died only a few months before her 90th birthday. I miss that woman everyday more and more. She lived 48 years longer than her husband and she never dated or remarried. She truly stood by her man almost as much as she stood by God. I know they are together in heaven.
Your comment made me realize that a man is like a brick, built hard but needs strong support to stand tall and that a woman is like mortar, soft to touch but incredibly strong and supportive on the inside.
