Whenever I hear this song I think of my Mom. She put up with with my Dad for 47 years and stood by his side til he passed from cancer couple years ago. He put her through hell with his hard drinkin’ & stayin’ out... Not once did she cry or complain or leave- she lived for him and her family. They don’t make women like my Mom anymore, and I love and appreciate her so much for all those years she put on a brave face for us kids. She truly loved my Dad with all his imperfections and faults. To this day she wont let anyone badmouth my Dad in front of her and only speaks fondly of him. I’ve learned so much about forgiveness from my Mom. Now she has cancer and struggling day to day but she’s still the strongest woman I’ve ever known. God bless you Mommy. I ❤️ you.

i want to improve the living conditions of humans and animals (especially in asia and africa), that is why i study agriculture and animal breeding and will found a start-up as soon as i finish my studies. i also volunteered for a while in a shop that sells fair trade products, it ain't much but still better than complaining about people criticising dead people for poorly written songs.
@@zhabo3963 Well, goody for YOU! Tammy Wynette was a talented songwriter and entertainer, and many people enjoyed her music. You sound like everyone else except for you, makes absolutely no contributions to this world--while you walk on water. And as far as I know, only one Man ever did that.
@@jodywilke4642 soory i am catholic but i will never believe in jesus walking on water
I have been listening to this beautiful song since 1984. It never gets old.

Beautiful person and song
My grandpa's favorite song... He used to play it on his old iphone.
I so love the vocal performance on this record...She just nails the living shit out of it......bravo Ms Tammy !
Classically trained played Mozart in concert on piano at 6; blues guitar master from 17 didn't know how dangerous its ambience was; smashed last electric at 62; on to opera arias; now calmed by Tammy's honest delivery ( ❤ tks sweetie ) 🎉🎉🎉
Hi Cuti

Hi Marti
How are you doing?
Today is Nov 18, 2024. I'm listening to this amazing song and one of the best singers in the music industry. I never get tired listening to this song. Anyone?
Had to google this after watching a movie......Wow, such a classic! Her voice is simply stunning and pure and powerful. I am not a huge country music fan but my goodness this is a song that has stood the test of times. Yet another singer that truly had a gift from God to use her voice to make the world a better place. Bless you Tammy Wynette!
