My dear wife recently passed away and loved this and she truly stood by me I love you eternally my lovely Helen ♥️♥️♥️♥️.
Hello
You have my condolences
So sweet.
Sorry for you man sincerly
Love this song very much😊
There's sarcasm, disappointment and lots of love in this song, all at the same time. And it's all melodious too.
And that's exactly why it's still a bop all these decades later I pray they start making art again.
22 year's married my man went to live upon the angels 30 day's ago. I stood by his side every single day for 22 year's right through cremation. I love my man and will continue to stand by him. Until we're together my love! I know you are here with me you were by my side as well for 22 year's and you continue to be you just have wing's now. I'm not a widow I'm a wife to a husband with wing's!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So sorry for your loss😢

I am still listening also.
❤❤❤❤❤🎉
I'm listening too 🥰
I'm listening,too!Melodie that never dies❤
So sad,what's happened with her,at 54😥😥😥
I played some songs in honor of her today. She passed away 26 years ago today. April 6, 1998. 🤠 ❤️
This song reminds me of my great grandparents. Great grandpa fought in ww2 and great grandma took care of the six children they had together. Their oldest child died back in 1972 and great grandpa died a month to the day later of a broken heart. My great grandma lived until 2020 and died only a few months before her 90th birthday. I miss that woman everyday more and more. She lived 48 years longer than her husband and she never dated or remarried. She truly stood by her man almost as much as she stood by God. I know they are together in heaven.
Wow. True love.
(Something in the Rain) brought me here. amazing song and voice...pure and beautiful lady

RIP Tammy Wynette (May 5, 1942 - April 6, 1998), aged 55
You will be remembered as a legend.
Love this song. Brings back memories. They just don’t make music like this anymore. What a voice she has. RIP❤
I love Tammy always have. Such a beautiful woman with so much talent. I am so sorry she ever met Richey😢
This is the most true song I have ever heard.. when you're married there's a lot that you won't understand.. I lost my husband 11 yrs ago, we were married almost 25 yrs but I stood beside him through thick and thin. R.I.P until we meet again.
This song makes me cry every time I hear it, my dad and I used to sing and dance to this song in the kitchen. January 29, 2016 was the worst day of my life. Just a few days after my 10th birthday, god decided it was his time. The part that really makes me cry, is that I wasn't even at the hospital when he left. I just wish that we could've danced to this song one more time...
Alina, don't worry: He was singing it with you even though you didn't know his spirit was right there!
Im so sorry for your loss. Prayers to you.
God don’t do nothing
Dont worry Alina, because now he lives in you.
oh honey, he's still singing this for you x

This song came out in 1971 when I was pregnant with my son. My husband had an affair at the time & I had filed for divorce. I was nearly suicidal.. We got back together & were together until he passed away. This song has bitter sweet memories for me, but is so beautiful.

I like the version from the KDrama, but it doesn't come close to the original. Tammy' Wynette's vocals are just stronger and carry more emotional weight than Carla Bruni's.

Tearing up. So true my wonderful wife stands me all the time even though I do things she doesn’t understand. Long range fishing trips.

Genuinely spent the last week looking for it. Had the tune down in my head, but i thought the lyrics were "Right by your side" which just led me to the Eurythmics or however you spell it!

Hello 👋 Michele. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I’m Mark Clifford and am from Denver Colorado. Where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
Hello Michelle, hope you're having a good day?
I don't care what anybody says I am 59 years old and born in Nashville and that is country.... No rap no electric guitars
On point. It’s been too long since we’ve heard a really country song
There is an Electric Guitar on this Track. It’s featured prominently, with Vibrato Effect on it, in the Intro.
This song has one of the best outros of all time.
Came here straight after watching Mr Harrigans phone... what a song!
Agreed
I think this is a beautiful song that talks about forgiveness and everlasting love. There will always be hard times, it's how we deal with those struggles that makes us strong.
Uh huh 🥲
as soon as she starts to raise her voice, i begin to recognize it. "OH I KNOW THIS SONG"

@@zhabo3963 Have a little respect, for a very talented woman who's no longer with us. What contributions have you made to the world, lately?
@@jodywilke4642 she was a singer. what the heck of a contribution is that?
i want to improve the living conditions of humans and animals (especially in asia and africa), that is why i study agriculture and animal breeding and will found a start-up as soon as i finish my studies. i also volunteered for a while in a shop that sells fair trade products, it ain't much but still better than complaining about people criticising dead people for poorly written songs.
@@zhabo3963 Well, goody for YOU! Tammy Wynette was a talented songwriter and entertainer, and many people enjoyed her music. You sound like everyone else except for you, makes absolutely no contributions to this world--while you walk on water. And as far as I know, only one Man ever did that.

Whenever I hear this song I think of my Mom. She put up with with my Dad for 47 years and stood by his side til he passed from cancer couple years ago. He put her through hell with his hard drinkin’ & stayin’ out... Not once did she cry or complain or leave- she lived for him and her family. They don’t make women like my Mom anymore, and I love and appreciate her so much for all those years she put on a brave face for us kids. She truly loved my Dad with all his imperfections and faults. To this day she wont let anyone badmouth my Dad in front of her and only speaks fondly of him. I’ve learned so much about forgiveness from my Mom. Now she has cancer and struggling day to day but she’s still the strongest woman I’ve ever known. God bless you Mommy. I ❤️ you.
Hope your mom well Mike 🙏

Growing up my mother listened to masterpieces like this. My old man listened to Rock n Roll so i got a taste of both. This is when country or Rock was actually good music to listen to. The state of music today is just so sad
My grandpa's favorite song... He used to play it on his old iphone.

I grew up listening to this song from my mother, I don’t understand why we as women should stand by a man that does us wrong, but I did also as a native wife, why should men be excused for there bad behaviour, all I can say to younger generations don’t do it…
Proper good song, she was a legend
Lyrics
Sometimes it's hard to be a woman
Giving all your love to just one man
You'll have bad times
And he'll have good times,
Doin' things that you don't understand
But if you love him you'll forgive him,
Even though he's hard to understand
And if you love him oh be proud of him,
'cause after all he's just a man
Stand by your man,
Give him two arms to cling to,
And something warm to come to
When nights are cold and lonely
Stand by your man,
And show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
Stand by your man

Thank you for the memories, and with everything going on in our country now' Lord knows I wish I could go back in time.
Solid Country Gold! I'm 64 and was a frontman, lead vocals, and harmonica, for blues band. We played a fund raiser, along with other musicians, which included Rock n Roll, Jazz, and Country, for the fallen son of a friend/brother musician. After our Blues set, they had a raffle, followed by a Country set. One of the musicians was an 85 year old man who entered the stage on a walker. It took some time for him to get settled. During this time, I commented to my band, "If I get to that shape, don't let me play." The music began, and that gentleman who played the steel guitar went into a solo which brought goosebumps. Smooth, he hadn't missed a lick. I told my boys, "Listen to that! Solid Country Gold! Don't let me talk smack like that anymore." I loved you, Ms. Tammy. Lord, have mercy on us musicians. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen
God Bless you… you are high. A lot of love from Brasil 🇧🇷.
