thought I recognized that dealership, we were on vacation a few weeks back and actually went there to check out their inventory. I decided on the T120 black model gold line series. 1st bike, and new rider. thanks for the review.
Just in case anyone interested bought. T120 in London UK and toured through Europe to Dubai 1500 kms in 10 weeks , never missed a beat, great bike and would recommend a Bonnie to anyone, cheers
In case anyone is looking for that windscreen the part ID is triumph long haul touring screen # A9708304. I think it fits on both models. The hard cases are Hepco and Becker locking hard cases.
Jason Taylor sorry brother, I’ve been waiting too 😟 I will do it ASAP but glad to hear you like it, it sure looks fun to ride. Keep me posted on what you think.
Triumph’s Long Haul Screen on the T120. I’ve left mine on as it’s good at high speed and looks ok too. I’m not sure about the hard luggage though. On that T120 Black I’d go for SW Motech Heritage range... Nice video by the way.
Good review , thats all people want. Those in the process of looking to get a bike have probably already made their mind up , of what they want all be it T100 or t120. You being in Oregon are laws a bit different. At 16 min17s your turning right at a red light, if exit is clear, over here through driving on left, you Cant turn Left in UK law at red light, if exit is clear. But obviously in certain US states you can. Is this correct ... If it is Shame the dont do that in the UK. All that said Good Work keep it up👍👍
Thank you! It’s a state by state thing here but mostly it’s a legal move to turn in the immediate lane of travel by yielding after stop, unless posted.
bovver wonder I totally agree, I think they should have more questions about things like this on the triumph surveys they email us, instead of those accessories surveys. Good comment!
Great review..wish you could’ve had someone take footage of you riding since you are tall..or a couple still shots..otherwise well said and done..thanks 👍🏽
That’s a great bike in that range similar to the rebel. It all depends on usage. Long highway miles or bringing a lot of travel gear I’d recommend the 120. Just for getting around town or day trips the 100 is fine. Unloaded, the bikes feel very similar to one another.
Maria Victoria Jimenez oh wow the fat bob is absolutely gorgeous. I’m guessing quiet a bit pricier than the t100 too. Haven’t ridden the fatty so I’m afraid I can’t give you much there. If only HD would let me demo bikes 😝
@@motodrang4287 Yeah it is WAY pricier than the T100 for sure! You should definitely give it a test ride if you have the chance. The torque is crazy on that thing!
I would say so, I might recommend the T100 for a first time rider and a used one at that ;) in case you want to move up after a year or two. Very forgiving and easy bike to ride.
mtntime1 it is a factory option 😀 . They call it the long haul touring screen. I pinned a comment with the official triumph part number. One of the better triumph windscreens.
John Cahill it’s in process after being voted in, some delays though. In Portland there are times and places it’s ok to do but the real problem is that the drivers here don’t really understand why we do it. Some get angry or passive aggressive. I imagine it’ll be in the books in the next couple of years. So... semi legal at the moment haha.
The T 120 can definitely wheelie and maybe a really light person could do the T100. As far as backing it, I'm not really confident enough to try that haha but there is no menu option I know of to disable traction control but you may be able to remove a fuse to disable it. As long as you could turn off abs then you could definitely do some sliding ;) Good questions!
Dave Kessler totally agree. It should be a simple toggle switch that you can use on the fly. My tiger 1200 is a nightmare to turn that stuff off. Not as bad as a vstrom with the whole center stand trick but still bad 😂
T100 is a smaller engine platform (900 cc) and it has a 5 speed transmission. The T120 uses a 1200cc motor and has a 6 speed transmission. Both handle very similarly.
900cc 58 hp is a fucking dog .. the old air cooled out runs them all day long .t-100 ...900cc made for urban hipsters .who piss at anything over 70mph .. now the 1200 cc is the one ..speed master model ..it works and goes fast and stops triumph true form to the 60 ..NO WRONG its water cooled .over priced triumph lost its way ...if you want true to form the . ROYAL ENFIELD 650 twin is the one true retro .. air cooled , easy to work on and 1/2 the price of a triumph ..
Triumph owner here I'm totally happy. Its a premium quality machine. 😊
Awesome review …
😊big love from Australia

Thanks , I been looking for a screen for my T120
That was just a great review. Subbed!!
This Visio placed the icing on the cake,I am sold, great viodo
Thanks 🙏 I think you’ll really like the bike. T100 or T120?
Got tired of waiting for you to review the Speed Twin, so I just went ahead and bought one! It's awesome so far.

Pete Sudhana thanks! I agree with the SW motech thing as well. I love their products.
Good review. I completely agree. I have 2019 T100 and I love it :)
Andrew Bannister thank you 🙏😃
Like beards, blackened bikes are a fad that some will regret.

The Street Twin is part of the Bonneville range
Just not a fan of the tank badges they slap on the T120. I replaced mine with the 4 bar badge.
bovver wonder I totally agree, I think they should have more questions about things like this on the triumph surveys they email us, instead of those accessories surveys. Good comment!
Nice review, really. Waiting for Speedmaster drive 😉and review...
Thanks! I just put in a request to review one so I'll keep up on them to loan me one :)
@@motodrang4287 thank you very much. Perfect 👍🤟
I was hoping to find out if it would fit me. This just sold me.
Ian Myers awesome! Hope you like it :).
I would like the T120 to be the standard and create something larger because we need Mo Powa baby
Absolutely!
Beautiful bikes. I love the blacked out color scheme, not a fan of chrome.
Great review..wish you could’ve had someone take footage of you riding since you are tall..or a couple still shots..otherwise well said and done..thanks 👍🏽
Thanks! good feedback I'll start trying to add that shot.
I would never take my new Bonnie through the mud. lol
“There’s no talk of tuggin here.” 😂
Would you recommend the t100 over the t120 for a second bike for someone who previously owned a Honda Rebel 250?
That’s a great bike in that range similar to the rebel. It all depends on usage. Long highway miles or bringing a lot of travel gear I’d recommend the 120. Just for getting around town or day trips the 100 is fine. Unloaded, the bikes feel very similar to one another.
Looking forward to your review of the Speed Twin!
Anordin1 thanks 🙏 they are still preparing the demo model as the shops been really busy but I’m on that bike ASAP. I can’t wait myself.
@@motodrang4287 Did we see you at Cascade today taking that red Speed Twin out for a review? Beautiful day for it!
M G oh yes! Almost done editing:)
all 2017 and later models T100 is 55 HP, not 64
I'm torn between the T100 and the new Fat Bob...completely different bikes LOL
Maria Victoria Jimenez oh wow the fat bob is absolutely gorgeous. I’m guessing quiet a bit pricier than the t100 too. Haven’t ridden the fatty so I’m afraid I can’t give you much there. If only HD would let me demo bikes 😝

Maria Victoria Jimenez I bet, absolute massive engine.
danm son earned yourself a new sub. great revieuw!
acv159357n thanks brotha!
Good God! All that traffic! It just ruins the enjoyment of a bike ride. This is why I only go for fun rides early on a weekend morning.
No damn cars!
mtntime1 yeah this review was one of the worst as far as timing. Normally it isn’t that bad.
If you put higher and wider bars on the T100 ! You would nearly have a street scrambler.
Ray Morris Hahahaha for sure, maybe the scrambler is more my style in general.
Great review 👍🏼
Bonneville good as first motorbike? Thanks.
I would say so, I might recommend the T100 for a first time rider and a used one at that ;) in case you want to move up after a year or two. Very forgiving and easy bike to ride.
Can you tell me the part number or manufacturer of the windshield? Thank you!
Michael Schaller hey buddy hope this helps and is what you’re looking for triumph long haul screen A9708304.
@@motodrang4287 thank you!
Michael Schaller no prob, thanks for asking and I am going to pin that part as a comment 😃
Is that windscreen removable? I wouldn’t want it in all the time, but I have a flyscreen and feel like it doesn’t really do much
I like your reviews
Paul Sparks thanks! Hoping to get on the speed twin soon, just waiting on a demo to show up :)
@@motodrang4287 exelent .I will be watching it as soon as it's on TH-cam
Can you add cruise control as an extra?
EnduroOzVic X yep , from 16- current on the t120 and from 17 to current on the t100 😀. Triumph Genuine Part # A9638178 should be the one.
@@motodrang4287 How about the windshield, like I see here? Is that a factory option on the T-120?
mtntime1 it is a factory option 😀 . They call it the long haul touring screen. I pinned a comment with the official triumph part number. One of the better triumph windscreens.
When did lane-splitting become legal in Oregon?
John Cahill it’s in process after being voted in, some delays though. does it wheelie? can you back it in?

@@motodrang4287 thank you that's exactly what I was looking for. The modern day ABS systems are such a drag if you can't turn the rear off
Dave Kessler totally agree. It should be a simple toggle switch that you can use on the fly. My tiger 1200 is a nightmare to turn that stuff off. Not as bad as a vstrom with the whole center stand trick but still bad 😂
Hehe tugging.
What is the difference between the T100 and T120?

Today's motorcycle 🏍️ are a collection of government regulations on 2 wheels.
Wish he didn't immediately talk over the engine startup. 😕 ..lame
Sorry my dude, something to think about in the future
Sorry, worst test ride route on the internet.
