EXACTLY, man made me coom in the first 5 seconds.
For rounded icon, select custom icon option, select the square shape (first one), then slide the rounded corner option to the maximum, and you get the round icon shapes.

I think the OnePlus 12 would be a better fit... The S23 Ultra as good as it was... I don't is a good choice coz the cameras on the OnePlus 12 are fairly good and it's also future proof with significantly better hardware and the software on OnePlus would also be better suited for the battery drain after prolonged usage
Is the Master mode any better than the photo mode? I believe there is an Auto mode in that too right? Can you please comment?
The colors are different in master mode and the HDR processing isn't present so tbh it's like 2 different tools to capture the scene. It makes more sense as you use it which is better for which situations..
@@Saito9IV agree. Master mode does have an automatic option which seems to apply a vignette and a touch of filtering.
Pro vid...first time watching you...??... did one plus fix that gap and silicone problem thats a concern for me...

No circle option is weird it pretty much runs Colour OS. I have the Oppo Find X5 & this has the round icon shapes. Great review btw, may upgrade to this at some point.

Very Nicely summed up! Cameras are really a PAIN point they are just mid range or lower. The Lyt-808 2x sensor crop basically results in just 3MP resolution and that is why it is so bad. They should have used a better sensor really this issue cannot be fixed by software update that much.

I think the added brightness is only with HDR. I can see a huge jump in brightness with Dolby Vision and ProXDR images
Where I live the oneplus 12 has the same price as a galaxy s23 plus and little cheaper then an s23 ultra. I have been a long time galaxy user and to me it is hard to move over of those reliable cameras. But I am tempted by this oneplus 12 and more after seeing your review. So in total honesty which one of those would you recommend s23 plus or op 12, s23 ultra or op 12? Thanks.
Compared to the S23 series I would recommend OnePlus 12... It is generally a bad idea to go for previous year flagships, even though the S23 ultra was pretty good, coz it's much older hardware and may end up becoming lack lustre in the long run... Just my opinion

I think the quality is comparable but the S23 ultra is more versatile while the OnePlus 12 has better night mode... So if the 10x zoom isn't a concern the OnePlus 12 will serve you well

Nah... I haven't used the S23 plus... But I doubt it's gonna compare

The choice of LYT-808 and thus losing resolution at 2x is a pity 😅. I might still get it just for its price, though.
The lackluster 2x zoom is a computational photography issue that needs to be straightened out by OP, not a physical flaw of the sensor.
@@412Kamikaze Apparently there's a new firmware in China with a fix to the 2x zoom resolution. I can't find reliable public information on the OCL design of LYT-808, though.
Yeah, nice job on the video and the review but I’m kind of done with curve screens they’re not as functional you get the glare and they’re more prone to break if you drop your phone and so be great if the Oneplus 13 can have a flat screen

Such a shame the camera is not top tier on this device. This is keeping me from purchasing this device right now.
Also the IPX65 should have been IPX68 but i could forgive that 'downside'.
Every review I have seen which is about 30+ reviews. sits this camera just above Galaxy S 24+ and just below Galaxy S24 Ultra. It is flagship level and top tier, just not the very best.

I agree, it would be flagship level as there are many flagships but it simply is NOT top tier.
Let's face it, it would simply not qualify in the Top 3 when it comes to camera's.
And yes, people that buy flagships DO care about the camera's and usually have it as a #1 priority.
I dont think agree that top tier means top 3 though. As it is not an exact science. According to DXO Mark fpr example Vivo x100 pro and Samsung S24 ultra and Pixel 8 pro are all not top 3 and I dont agree they are not Top tier cameras. @@Roomer645
production Qualtiy of the video is very good & keeps you hook with interested topic on the phone. Didn't like the color grading choice as it hid actual vibrant color of the profuct & too many glitch effect used in one video.
The glitch was an actual glitch in the rendering... Didn't add it intentionally... I think I fixed the issue coz the last video I made didn't HV any problems

@@Shiddaruto , still getting used to it. Very snappy phone but my older phone was 5 years old so no competition there. Photos I am not sure either. Sometimes I think it suffers a bit from autofocus but overall I cannot complain.
I have the Pixel 8 Pro since December, great cameras but battery wise it deceived me specially during my travel. I am switching to OnePlus 12 as soon as it's back to stock in my country
Bro pls animation kam rakho aur phone jada badhiya se dikhaya karo...ye faltu me screen flicker karne ke koi jarurat nahi...irritation hi hoti hai..
That flicker is an artifact... I don't know why it happened... Rendered the video twice but it kept happening n I just ran out of patience 😂

I had the OnePlus 6T and 9 days ago I bought the Oneplus 12 ... I'm happy for the purchase ... if only had flater panel ! :D
