Cheers for the video, just bought the same water butt. Well explained. Nice hack on the hole, was going to buy a 25mm hole saw. That's the size of the spigot..important if you need a longer pipe like me... 25mm Internal Diameter (ID). Best to measure yourself before buying, same water butt but the diverter kit may be different. I have a 90cm distance between my down pipe and water butt, normally the diverter is level with the water butt to prevent over flooding and for the overflow system to work My diverter will sit higher than the hole to negate the further distance but not too high as it will over flood the water butt. The pipe you get is short 40 50cm i think other people will have the same problem if you cant get your water butt close to the down pipe. Hope that helps

Cor that a bit of distance from your down pipe to your water butt!!! I now have 4 water butts all connect together & all get filled when it rains hard for a long time!!!
